Thought I's get a cheap daily as a runabout! Sell one of the expensive beasts and gain some cash in the process!!! To say it's mint is an understatement here are some pics after I just got it home: 62,000 miles from new, bodywork like it left the factory and a mint interior, plus when I was cleaning it I lifted out the rear seats and found........................£90 in notes!! The note date from 1987 so must have been there for 20 odd years :clap: :grin: :shock: Anyway, fully cleaned it, washed it, clay barred, wax and polish then a full service inc Oil & Filter, Air Filter, Sparkies, Dizzy cap & rotor arm, Fuel Filter, Wiper Blades, front brake pads and Timing Belt and Tensioner! It drives well and although only a 4-speed goes quite well for a big bus, bloody good on fuel too!!! Came with 12 months MOT so cheap motoring for me for a year :) Pics after I made it all Shiney 8) Not Bad eh :grin:

I have a DBW AUQ 1.8T fitted in my Rado! It's all running std VW management so has no probs with being driven slowly around town or having it's neck wrung :) At the mo it's std, it was RR'd at awesome last year at 195Bhp and 205Torques! I have a full KO4 set-up to go on so should be looking at 280-290bhp when finished! Have to say it's the best thing I've ever done, the engine suits the car so well!Puts a huge grin on my face everytime I get in and drive it!The motor just pulls and pulls, suprises quite a few cars :lol: I recently drove it to Belgium and backto go to Club Charly's and it never missed a beat, even managed to squeeze 400 miles from the tank :shock: Not trying to sound big headed but the install in mine is one of the best I've seen, looks very factory, very neat! Some just seem to be thrown in! I can't take credit for it, the 2 guys who did it are very good, highly recommended!

You can't remap a KE-Jetronic engine any way......... The ECU only handles the ignition side of things, as nothing to do with the fuel! That is sorted out by the Metering head! Sounds like it needs a good rolling road tune, ask about your local area for peeps good with K-Jets! When I had the KR in mine, flowed the head and fitted Schrick 268 cams! Ran like a bag of poo till it was tuned then it absolutley flew :norty:

Nope! all Mk3 VR's are 2.8 174bhp! Highlines have Leather interior as standard colour coded to the car! So a blackberry one has purple inserts in the seats :) This one being black has black inserts :lol: Looks v.nice in the pics I'd ditch the gay lights but thats just my 2p! Seems a fair price to me!

LOL Tit! Another nice Rallye tale was a mate of mine parked called into his local VW Stealers to pick up some parts! Parked the Rallye outside the main showroom. a couple of the salesmen go out to have a look at it! After a good mooch one of them comes up to my mate with a grin, conversation goes like this: Saleman "Is that your golf outside?" Mate "Yup, nice isn't it, bet you don't see many of those these days?" Saleman "Well not with those bodykits fitted no, plus you need to have a word with whoever did it as they've fitted the wrong headlamps, Golfs should have round ones" My mate just looked at the Parts Guy, who shook his head in disbelief....... There are some proper 'Tards who class themselves as VW Salesman these days!!!!

Corrado's......If only everything in life was as reliable! :lol: Seriously though, bit like any older car, so long as all the major mechanical bits are looked after and replaced then I can't see why they are unreliable! They have there little quirks such as door handles, sunroofs, spoiler probs etc but so long as you buy one from an enthusiast and not a chavvy 'tard thats bought it, realised how expensive they can be and is quickly selling it on then it should be cool! but don't be under any illusion it'll be cheaper to run than your A4!!

What colour???? If you're referring to my Mk2 it was Lhasa Green! Prob one of the rarest Mk2 colours and I killed It :(

Think overall Dubs are particulary Strong! My old Mk2 Golf after a rolled it several times into a farmers field after hitting a tree head on........ :cuckoo: Now if I was in a 205 or an astra.............

Brother in law is stripping his MK2 Golf as it's FUBAR'd It has almost brand new Eibach ARB's fitted. Just wondered if anyone knew if these would bolt straight onto a Corrado??? Can't see why not as the rear beam and front wishbones etc are all the same as a Mk2! Just wanted to Double check! Cheers Guys! Steve
