Whilst my front end is off I've taken the opportunity to de-rust / respray and then waxoyl the battery tray area . Surprisingly easy with all that spaceand definitely worth it. Just another job to add to a never ending list. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Easypops, is that a clip near the bonnet stay holding the cable in situ?? Mine doesn't have that, or any hole where something could go through. The VW etka picture doesn't show it either. Hmm! ! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

No, all from VW Heritage. I can't remember if they got them in from classic parts. I'll try and dig out my receipt but I do know it was one of the few Corrado parts that didn't involve me selling a kidney 😆 Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

After market upgraded CV inner and outer joint and drive shaft kits.
Cressa replied to EJ Taylor's topic in Drivetrain
I and others have purchased them from J&R who are based in the Midlands. Very quick delivery too. Great price and the only negative being they could do with a better coat of paint on the driveshafts. Couldn't complain against the cost so I've hammerited mine. They are also advertise on ebay Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk -
Do you want the other speaker fitting b4 i post. I assume postage would be cheaper without the broken one in situ. Or I could just remove it. Happy to send it all so let me know. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

SOLD... £30 plus postage... offers. Only selling because of my OCD. I'm trying to put the corrado back to standard and bought some jbl 6x4 rear speakers for the supports . To fit these you have to cut out a piece underneath the shelf. I did this to one and feel I've now took it away from being standard. So, both shelf supports out of my 95 vr6 for sale with the new speakers. As with new speakers adaptor leads are required (ebay) I will happily cut and fit the other one into place, or send as is. Speakers tested but unused from new. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Finally I've got round to this so apologies for the late reply. The ones I got from VW are indeed 4mm rivet and 9mm length APPROXIMATELY. But they came silver! !! So I've been ordering black aluminium ones from ebay. I made the wrong decision again. ..in ordering the wide flange ones. These stick past the trim so I've just ordered standard head ones. They seem a nice snug fit but I've only seen 10mm length. Hopefully when these come I get to fit and I'll post a picture up. Question? Is there anywhere on the forum where we could keep info like this all in one place. Ie just the rivet size and for where, not all the chats that got us to here. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
