1. So I've faffed even more with the rear suspension. Bolt eye to bottom cup = 315mm Top plate to top of cup with the compressed spring in = 295mm So all that sounds the same. But on the picture of my car it looks more ridiculous than any oe set up. I have wondered if the lower rubber that fits on top could be smaller to close the complete gap but I don't think that would be the right thing to do. So I understand more in why corrados need a shortened strut to help them sit looking better. I've considered a lowered spring but that has mixed reviews and I don't understand how that would work correctly when the piston is so long.....I picture the suspension could lift up and the spring come off its mounting(or perhaps that sounds extreme) So unfortunately unless someone comes up with a great suggestion, due to funds these have to go back on as the car need money elsewhere. Any thoughts greatly appreciated Cressa Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
2. Pm sent Gareth Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
3. Assuming the 16v brakes aren't the same as the 280mm vr6 then I would say yes they should fit. If they are wrong send me them back Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
4. SOLD Genuine vw splashshields. I purchased them last year for my vr6, gave them an extra coat of black hammerite prior to fitment, but they do NOT fit a Vr6. So getting them out the way now. Part no. 357615311A £20 posted for both Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
5. Have you tried doing the wiki repair on your mirror switch. Easy enough to do and got my mirrors working as it's a common fault Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
6. Crazily mine is the same Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
7. Got my car in the air at the moment so can't compare unfortunately. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
8. My rear bolt eye to bottom of the cup is actually shorter at 310?? Aghhhh Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
9. That ridiculous too high. .. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
10. Thanks for those. I've only got the rears off at the moment. Gutted that in being an oe replacement it sits ridiculously high. I do know my spring is 345mm uncompressed and other quotes I've found have said that is what the late vr is !! Who's make are your struts? Sorry for all the questions Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
11. I'm just on the rears for now. Could you get me a measurement from the centre lower fixing eye to the bottom spring plate please. I want to see if these Monroe struts are longer. Something Is wrong with what I've bought. Thanks Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
12. That's a proper man thing to have. I'm feeling good as I've got the old front seats from my Corrado in the living room. Result Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
13. Ha ha sorry mate i obviously mis read that. I'm thought you had 3 alloys not 3 sets. Isn't that classed as hoarding[emoji85] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
14. Easypops how much are you after for the 3. Ideally I'm after some to refurbish so I'm slowly cheaply collecting them. And I don't need to have Tyres Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I don't know what they are? His advert states corrado but then mentions polo and golf!! So confusing. Just thought I'd put it on here to maybe help someone. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

If they were right for anyone I'm apparently 7 miles away so could collect and drop further down. I work in Nottingham Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Just seen there's a black leather interior at Sheffield for 250. Its on Gumtree so have a look Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
18. That would be great. I've bought some oe rears and the car looks ridiculous Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
19. Thanks. I'll bare it on mind when I get to take mine off. Hopefully soon when I've re-sorted my suspension out to get to the engine. I do always take photos of a before and after to ensure things go back as they were. Although that's not much use if refitting back into a wrong position I suppose. Well done in sorting yours Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
20. Glad you got it sorted. As this sounds 100% the same problem I have, I'm going to go down this route Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
21. Typical government mess . How about a fire service mobilised by a French control system that continually fails, turns out the wrong appliances, doesn't turn out appliances or just shuts down.. At least they look good Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
22. B#$##rd British government. No further comment. .. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
23. Could anyone measure the above for the front and rear please. I'm after an off the car standard spring length measurement to see if the monroe ones I have are correct. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
24. Impressive. Any chance you could get it on the front deck behind Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
25. I've heard that but why would you. Those German engineers were really clever so it's there for a reason. Circulating the water is good for me. But then again a Tiger tank looked impressive to me growing up Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
