My ABS light comes on when I hit 5 mph. I thought this meant a broken sensor, I've tested all four and they have the correct resistance reading, and there is voltage of 5v at each connection point. Any ideas where to look next please?

Yes, the websites not great. I took the safe bet and ordered them from AVS. I needed some other bits as well and know I'll get what I ordered.

I was hoping with the correct tool that it would have been possible to do on the car, but it seems to be a chunky piece of equipment. https://vw.snapon.com/SpecialToolsDetail.aspx?itemid=27660108 The car was booked in at a Audi/VW specialist for a brake pipe, bushes and then mot. I think he was in the same mind set as me on the bushes, I'd better inform him of the situation. Thank you for the helpful replies.

Hey all Does the rear axle have to be completely removed from the car to replace the bushes?

Not sure if the outer cover will come off without damage. Mine seem stuck fast and would cause damage if tried. Thanks again mate.

I was hoping that I might have found an odd one that would have filled the hole. Having to get 4 puts a new light on the situation. I've just looked at the condition of the other 3 and to be honest they are in bad shape, the front ones have actually warped a little with heat. With the cost and aesthetics considered, I figure I'd be better off to get 4 of the reps, at least then they will all match and would lay the road open for wheel refurbishment. This decision though makes me feel mean towards you, considering you took the time to help me Keyo! I'm sorry to mess you around buddy, but thank you for your help.

Yeah that's it, and ouch on the price. The one on my pump is totally rusted (although it still worked). At that price if anyone was to fit a new one, a couple of coats of rust proof paint would be a wise move indeed. Thanks for the link.

Hi Animal. Just a heads up that an email with photos has been sent. I meant to say in the email that the smaller fuel canister is severely corroded and would benefit from being changed. I am a little unsure as to what the smaller canister is, as the larger one looks like a standard fuel filter to me? If you could shed some light on this it would be handy. Cheers

Hi Animal. Sorry I forgot about this after a few days. I have a unit from a 16v I broke. The car was a runner but lost to tin worm. I have it boxed on my racking and will get some photos tomorrow. Is it the broken fuel filter fixing that is your issue, because if memory servers me correctly mine also has that piece broken? **Edit** I have found the pump and have taken photos, let me know if you are still in need. Tackling these jobs is hard work at the best of times, having to fettle 3 vdubs is pure commitment mate. I'm sure all the hard work is worthwhile though when you take a look on your driveway 👍
