1. These came off a 95 VR6 and had some koni sport shocks, the shocks Absorbers were no good anymore . It will lower the ride height between 25 mm - 30 mm , I believe you need the early spring plates pre facelift to work with lowering springs on a corrado maybe another member can confirm this. It says on the spring that they also fit a Golf MK 3 VR6. I believe they will work with stock shock absorbers or any of the Bilstein range, but if your oe shocks are knackerd it will make the ride harsher then it should be. Described as best in class. VR6 Fuel Hoses

Sorry mate correct link for last fuel line left off ebay. Part Number 021133988K https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/original-VW-Kraftstoffschlauch-R%C3%BCcklauf-f%C3%BCr-Golf-3-Corrado-Syncro-VR6-ABV-AAA/253581539419?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
3. Hi Anna , Are these the sill trims that have the Corrado lettering or the late plane trims. Cheers
4. Glad to hear doctor G, they might have that glue remover available over here but might be branded differently for obvious reasons ha.
5. Probably worth getting some alcoholic wipes to then as preperation. Had mine spotless with the steamer but there was no way I could get the VW hertiage glue off after I saw how awful the insulation looked from them as it was more like a hard super glue, trim glue should be strechy, really annoyed to be honest and there still selling it for some other poor sod . Thankfully tuough the new insulation I got has adhered really well , been on for four months now with no issues and if I do I have some heat trim adhesive spray.
6. I wouldnt bother using any glue remover personally as the chemicals could be abrasive to the paint laquer in the long run, just get off what you can with steam and a plastic scraper, this removed all my original insulation and adhesive before the VW Heritge special glue :bonk: , this is one of thoe jobs that the more you do can be negative.
7. What ever you do , do not scratch the underside of the paintwork as this could lead to moisture in the engine bay causing rust on any metal work that has had the paint removed. I would recommend using steam from a wall paper remover, works a treat and put a sheet over your engine bay to protect it from falling debris. I origianly got the VW heritge insulation what a load of garbage and the glue was awful/imappropriate, ended up cutting my loses and getting the OE stuff but the glue VW heritage sent out left a disgusting mess behind, actually told them to remove it off there site it was that bad but they are still selling it for some reason .

Fuse clip trim

Thanks for the reply I have seen them on ebay and they are an absolute rip off as Kip on here has mentioned there is a scene tax attached to these cars that inflates part costs . I was hoping that the housing clip I have circled is available stand alone as it might be used else where in the VAG range. I even saw a second hand battered light switch on ebay for £70, you can get them new for less then £30 some right chancers on the fleabay. I have managed to get the right angle philips head plastic clips for the tailgate trim as purchased a second hand tailgate trim for £20 with the clips and have a spare tailgate trim or could sell. The fuse clips did come on the Jetta and the transporter van to as stated on oempec. Im suprised someone with knowhow has not got a 3d printer together and made some parts because the postage and some of the prices from Germany are very exspensive. You ave to pay £7-£15 postage on top of the part which really makes it exspensive. Parts that could be printed and obselete. Fuse trim clips Seat tilt lever and trim surround A pillar caps B pillar and tailgate bungs Binnacle corner trim covers Front grill decal Tailgate trim philips head clips And so on its about time we got a list of hard to find/rip off top ten and approached a platics manufacture or DIY 3D printer in the UK. Somoeone like this may have the contacts. https://www.vehicleclips.co.uk/parts-by-make/volkswagen.html Cheers.

Fuse clip trim

Ive found the striped clip under the seat for the fuse clip trim so just need the part circled. Does anyone know the part number for this clip as it might be used for other uses in the VAG range and be available. Thanks in advance

Great bargain

I probably would of gone for this before I got VR6 as its just round the corner , Wheels do look amazing polished. His spent a lot of money on that car getting it where it is, well worth its asking price and has all ready dropped it, good mileage to. You could buy that have it a couple of years and easily get your money back if not more.
11. This car for sale looks a minter for anyone looking for a 16 V , not asking much at all. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-1-8-16V-1990-LOW-MILEAGE-EXCEPTIONAL-CONDITION-price-reduced/283414607206?hash=item41fcd3b566:g:9rAAAOSwnwpchiGN

Headlight switch

They are slightly different the round light is green rather then orange but i quite like that as it matches the dials and seems a quality item. Yeah I never bother with dealers unless its fluids everything else is pretty much obselete.
15. Hi Kip, Im after one x 1 fuse clip and one plastic philips screw clip that fits in the rear tail gate trim the one that you remove by turning 180 degrees. Have x3 original new blue hose line clips throttle body x2 and x1 coolant reservoir x4 aftermarket plugs for lower a plillar trims (fit) x4 aftermarket plugs for the opposite larger plug holes (not tried these yet) A pillar trim clips aftermarket. Origianl body washers new. Pm if your interested in a swop or a price for purchase. Cheers.
16. Trust me it hurt me paying it ha. Amos in Derbyshire said he had couple but he never answers his phone and thought sod him just pay up the German his never going to be bothered to post it. It is an essential part to be fair the boot lid is awfull opening it without it and just going to put uneccesary pressure on surrounding fittings.

Headlight switch

Still get a new one mate, VW Heritage can order one in from below link with cheap postage . I do have an old one but I reccomend getting new because of the issues with older switches. https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/en/schalter-2997eb.html
18. Here are the parts that Im having powder coated at the moment if this is a help. My car is on jacks and the engine is suspended on a beam. The red parts at the bottom of the pile are aftermarket Eibach anti roll bars and the X shaped brace is off an R129 but the rest are all stock parts. They were in better condition then I imagined but the rear subframe was in a very tatty condition and the bushes were absolutley perished. Had to cut out the old Koni shocks it was that eroded in that area (fitted in 2003) It will cost in the regoins of £400 to get them all powder coated but well woth it in my opinion. 19. Im using a T4 one as the Corrado one is obselete so will be a lot longer so hopefully will just be the rubber I will need to cut. So an update on the push rod shock on the tailgate that was missing, I showed Vince at Stealth and he said an abscence would of caused the slit/damage in hot weather so all that have not got one on their car and do not want to have to go through the hassle of purchasing a none corrado seal there is a link below where you can purchase one, but only a couple left, some parts that make it up are still availble but the screw housing is impoosible to purchase, however found complete rod formation below for sale. The black square clip was an aftermerket part the last owner put in the drain hles to try and limit the damage as the tailgate acting like a chopper ha. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Corrado-D%C3%84MPFER-f-HECKKLAPPE-Aufsteller-VW-vr6-g60-16V-2-Tailgate-Suspension/163539875305?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

VR6 Fuel Hoses

You need part number 021133988K + 021133990K x4 fuel hose clamps https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-MK2-Golf-GTI-Genuine-OEM-Fuel-Line-Clamp-For-PBs-Etc-Brand-NEW-Stock/281088543505?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I got some recently sourced some from Germany ebay original new old parts . The VR6 passat ones look the same on OEMPEC but have a slighly difeerent part number last digit is J not K. The original Corrado ones are not available from VW Classics Germany but the Passat ones are, I have asked VW Heritage this and they should see if a set fits the Corrado as a fair few people would buy them if they fitted . Here is one them still availble. Its gone up in price since I purchased it as its the last one in the world ha ! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Corrado-D%C3%84MPFER-f-HECKKLAPPE-Aufsteller-VW-vr6-g60-16V-2-Tailgate-Suspension/163539875305?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649#vi-ilComp I do still have my old ones but there is a bit of discolouration on the one pipe and I would rather keep them as spare parts Im afraid. Email these guys they might have both in stock, check first but they are showing as available if you do purchase them and they are not available they will refund you on paypal straight away they are a good company I order from . https://www.online-teile.com/volkswagen-ersatzteile/021133988K_Hose.html?language=en
21. Could always do something like re trim your cloth with a VW classic pattern. I think its fair game as the cloth on Corrado is not the best design pattern compared to other VW classic cloth patterns, rainbow pattern, plaid, recaro rallye, edition one also I think hound tooth pattern looks the business from a classic 911. Clips / exchange

The hose clamps fit on the hose that comes out of the reservoir and the two hoses that connect to the side of throttle body , I do have some original fuel hose clamps but they are nothing special just a mucky looking black from factory, the blue hose clamps are the ones most on show so they made a bit of effort with them from factory and they are a bright blue, or might signfy cooling. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-VW-Spring-Band-Clamp-N-10098701-/332256353105
