Looking for some suggestions! We had an office quiz and now we have to pick a forfeit for the losing team to perform one day next week.

In future can we avoid having several threads for single items please? It's not fair to other users when you end up bumping all of your threads at the same time. Thanks

Have seen one or two recently but no problems viewing that thread ...

Get out now.

Seems fine to me, not like anyone else (as far as I can tell) has offered the money up until now. -
Pages being redirected to some other website...?

Andi, I read this on another forum ... may be worth having a look. -
Definitely one of the best mods you can do, good luck with the sale :)

Okey doke, consider it sold. Will discuss over PM.

Jesus I can remember when the Lupo arms and blades were expensive at around £60 a set!

It's a heavy old unit - just shy of 2.5kg. Postage estimate seems to be around the £10 mark. I'll cover half the postage cost and could do £55 delivered?

Corrado Bible. Very good condition - some oily marks on some pages but nothing that affects it's usability. I actually sold it a few months back but couldn't find the bloody thing. Tried to find the guy but don't seem to have the PM's any longer. If he spots this he's welcome to first refusal. Failing that asking £50, which is what I sold it for last time.

What condition is the Race/boss in please? :) -
I think 67mm mounting depth may be pushing it for me. I'll have to get my door card off and measure to be sure so I will pass for now unless you still have em in a weeks' time.

You might find mounting a 5" speaker in the standard pods a bit tricky? Generally the bigger speaker you can fit, the better. If you aren't going with custom or Audioscape pods for some 6.5" speakers, I would at least get 5.25" - no point bodging something to fit really. Components really aren't that tricky. Door cards off, few bits of dash/under-trays to remove, glovebox out. Mount some 6.5" mids to Audioscape or custom pods. Wire head unit to amp. Wire amp to crossovers. Wire crossovers to mids and tweeters. Mount tweeters in the standard dash locations by windscreen. Hide crossovers. Test everything. Re-fit doorcards, and other bits of trim.

Dragon was my first thought as well but wasn't that only available on 94 cars? Guess the car is ok for the money. Nice cheap entry to Corrado ownership and you can save some pennies for repairs. Personally I'd save/spend more on something a bit more interesting but if it ticks the boxes for you, go for it :)

Yeah I've had this as well with an Evo - red flare like a large smartie tube attached under the passenger footwell. Thing is all Mitsubishis are imported by UK dealers so they should have removed it when it hit our shores. Guess it's one that slipped through the cracks! Can't really think of much stranger than that. Just the usual teddy bears, CD's, coins, broken (window) glass etc.
-
You would definitely need to build a custom pod or buy some Audioscape pods for anything over 5.25". If you're going to a certain amount of hassle you may as well get components and up the size. Or just stick with standard size and upgrade the speakers.

You should do ... you just don't know it ;)

Yeah I'm just curious about how they do it, what the colour match is usually like, are the results 'as good as new' or will it just hold up to close scrutiny. Needlework's not really my thing lol As you say, if it's £40 and a poor job, it still can't look worse than having a fag hole there!

Does anyone have any experience of having cloth seats repaired for stuff like cigarette burns? I have an annoying one on my driver seat (not caused by me) and was wondering if it was worth having it repaired. Local guy is asking around £40 or so.
-
I'm trying not to make the guy feel bad for paying £100 for it. You lot aren't helping
