By their very nature, very few forums or clubs will ever be self-sufficient, and the CCGB is not one of them either. Andi has bank-rolled the forum for many years, when donations have been outweighed by server costs. However, he has never wanted to implement a mandatory payment/contribution system for using the forum. It's a free resource but, in answer to your question, it is largely now funded by donations and subscriptions. Martin ... would an insurance company ever try to catch you out, in the event of a claim, by claiming that a named driver never actually used the vehicle? I mean, the whole point of adding someone else is that they are classed as lower risk than you, and will be driving the vehicle 'some' of the time, thus lowering the risk to the insurance company. So if that person has never even driven the car, would/could they void a claim? Unlikely I know, because if it came to a claim, the named driver could just say they used the car once a week.

I think I can trump that with "genuine reason for sale". Of course there's a f**king genuine reason, you don't want it any longer. Maybe they originally drafted the advert with something like "Dishonest reason for sale ... the back half is a Ford Cortina", but figured it might put people off.
