    Badgeless grills

here is a badgeless grill with a seperate firbe glass eyebrow.. I now only have the grill, the spoiler is on the M1 somewhere.
  10. yeah its got abs, Why would the ABS relay be clicking when i dim and un-dim the dash lights with the number 4 fuse IN?!!!
  11. well my car is a RHD and the two relays im on about are on the LEFT of the car, at the back of the dash, right at the top (inside the dash)
  12. i have the same problem on my C, dripping over the drivers seat, not nice to sit on!
  13. the realy NO WAY NEAR the fuse box, is on the passenger side of the car, behind the glove box, right up at the top, its the one on the RIGHT as you look at it towards the sky, it is next to a 179 relay i think! what do the relays do that are behind the glove box on the passengers side?
  14. yeah bit far for me too, oh and i have the wrong engine, how about a 2ltr 16v buying guide?
  15. ok UPDATE, the REAR WIPER works aswell WITHOUT the number '4' fuse in! whats going on!
  16. should be thankful that the steering wheel isn't sprung loaded like a nova, i was once taking off my wheel and it hitting me in the face!
  17. i didnt realise that C's had door buzzers, only the LED on the switch? when i had a new alarm fitted whe i brought it, the guy who fitted it did say the wiring for old alarm was shocking! Im not sure where to start tho, maybe try and trace the old alarm?
  18. After ive been having alot of problems with my dial/dash lights being on all the time with ignition on and the headlight switch nearly catching fire, see video here... http://www.stuffing.freeserve.co.uk/light.avi I have now found out that the problem is NOT with the HL switch but something else, me and a mate started to try and investigate further, When the side lights were on, and i tried to dim the dash lights up and down, when the dimmer got to the 'top' possition a CLICK could be heard from the RELAY numbered 79 under the passenger side of the dash and the copper wire on the dimmer unit got RED HOT, (as in the video) So we kept trying things and started to take fuses out various to see if that made a difference, in the end, we took out the fuse numbered 4 (for sunroom tilt and slide and the rear wiper motor) So bonus i thought, its got to be something wrong the the sunroof or wiper motor, so i tried the sunroof and rear wiper, and they STILL WORKED, how can that happen! with no fuse in it! The dash lights and dimmer switch are working PERFECTLY now! Can anyone explain what the relay 79 does or how my sunroof and rear wiper can still be working with no fuse in it? PLEASE help! Neil
  19. all from cold. BUT more noticible from when i, Drive 2 minutes (literally, im lazy) to work, park on a slight backwards hill so the car is leaning backwards a bit, leave it for 4 hours, then start the car, it really struggles to start!
  20. yeah i was going to say you have air con, in this pic you can clearly see the pully for the compressor (circled)
  21. is it a common thing for the vavle to 'go' leaving me with no pressure and terrible starting problems?
  22. i have got terrible starting problems with my 9a 2ltr 16v. I have done the test of switching on the ignition on and off 4-5 times before starting and this has improved it as i believe this builds up the fuel pressure it loses while the car is stood still. Can anyone let me know where i would find this one way valve or something related to it? Many Thanks, Neil

    Rieger grills

well i cant take any pictures not as if flew off on the M1 somewhere, the fit wasn't to bad actually, but it doesnt have any tabs on it or anything, so i screwed it into the headlight surrounds and the bonnet kinda gripped the middle, abviously it wasnt enough, so i recon bonding it on would be a good idea. with it being firbe glass you cant make a tred into it so the screw kinda has to hold it on with the grip into the secondry thing you screw into. So my advice is bonding!
  24. i currently have loads of mp3 cds im listening to.... so having them on shuffle is quiet a nice suprise.
