  1. Turbo time!!!! Yes, i have loads of bits too..
  2. Yep, went about 3 days ago in a smallish jiffy bag. One LA lock and a few spare lock plungers. Give it time mate, it'll get there.
  3. I may have a couple spare, complete units off 9A's.
  4. Yes mate, off a ultra low milage (19.000km) ABV 2.9 Vr6 engine. I'll snap a few photos. Send me your email and i'll send them off my phone. Cheers-Andrew.
  5. Strangely enough, I need a handbrake cover too.. I Bloodywell had an excellent one somewhere, can't find it now.
  6. ...With a second series version.. of which i have 2.. Time to update your motor Dazz..
  7. If it's the Hall sender, and seeing as your in wales, go and nick the distributer of Dazz_g60's yellow corrado..!! can't be hard to find a yellow corrado in Wales! That way i'll sell him another one! Just kidding, if it is that and you can't find a spare (8-16v they are both the same components) let me know.
  8. 12v. Connect a 12v Lamp across both +15 and the other side, with the ignition switched on and see if there's current in and out of the coil. Did the Hall sensor turn out ok?
  9. Jees, WALESEY??? Now that's a member I haven't heard from in ages.. I still wonder if you ever received that g60 Ps pump I posted off 10/12 years ago! Hope your ok mate.
  10. Have you checked that the small carbon brush is present inside the dist. Cap? Sometimes they can fall out. Not a lot left to check now other than the rotor arm you renewed. Also a possible buggered Hall sensor.
  11. I reckon that a bit more info. is needed here, Those bolts shown in Yanard's excellent write up must be unique to the ASD version of 02A, I've never seen them before, only ever removed the larger Torx bolts so your gonna need that particular tool too, T45 or T50. You MUST heat the units first and make sure that the puller is seated correctly under the syncro ring, otherwise you could damage the ring. Under no circumstances try to pull the gears off by connecting the pulley directly under the fragile gear cog's teeth, they'll chip, guaranteed. Without the proper Kukko Vw puller, it's very easy to chip the fine gear teeth. Make dam sure that you select 1st and 5th gear to lock the gear shafts, the shafts MUST not move in either direction, not even a bit, if they do and whilst your trying to undo the tight fixing bolts you could chip off a tooth from the gear wheels.. Lastly, very important when rebuilding the 5th gear hub that the detent springs inside the syncro don't get dislodged from the recesses inside the small detent fingers located inside the syncro hub itself, the outer spring is easy to see as it's right in your line of site, but the inner spring isn't..what happens is that when you engage 5th, the finger gets pulled too far forward and over steps the retaining spring, always check this before closing the outer cover, if that detent finger comes out whilst your driving the car at speed.. Almost forgot, another thing to watch is when your tightening the 5th hub part that has the syncro, keep checking that the syncro hub's 3 aligning teeth haven't moved out of line with the cut outs on the syncro hub itself, if you don't keep an eye on this the syncro will be pressed down but you'll have to pull it all off again as the syncro won't work 'cos it's teeth aren't engaging. Hope this lot helps, take your time and don't rush.
  12. Yep.. Got one. They are indeed handed, which side do you need, left or right?
  13. Ok, I found one, not the valver one but as long as it's an original plug, who cares.. god knows what happened to the 16v one I had. I'll include 5 new junior timer terminals so you can reuse your existing wiring cut back an inch or two to remove the cooked bits of wiring and install the new terminals. This one I have is just as bad wiring wise as yours mate.. Normally, there's sufficient slack to recuperate the wires. All you'd need is a cheap crimping tool. Send me your email and I'll get you a couple of photos sent. Cheers.
  14. I did have that exact connector chopped off a spare mega low mileage 2.0 9A 16v loom. I'll have to look for it amongst a huge pile of bits.. Later on I've got to get some photos of bits for other members so if it's there, I'll snap a few photos.
  15. Welcome aboard mate, If you need advice, tips parts etc just shout. Cheers-Andrew.
  16. I don't think it's possible to fire a burger anyway or where..
  17. What kind of temps. are you chaps seeing in the UK? I'm virtually frying here in Rome, temps pushing 50 effin degrees and 25/6 at nite.. It hasn't rained here for 3 fukkin months.
  18. I've got a set of these calipers mate. Never actually fitted them though because I grabbed a good deal on a set of Brembo 4 pots. Doesn't matter if it's a g60, Vr or valver, the hubs are the same bolt wise. Have a look on clubti.com as there was an excellent write up with photos of these being fitted to a mk2 golf gti track car. Let me know if your interested.
  19. Nothing Like a 16v coil..dumb ****s.. Looks like the 8v 2.0 single cam coil. I've Got a few spare green Label g60 Bosch coils, but i'm Here and Your there so god knows when the thing would show up when posted.. Did you try fitting a spare bit of wire from the pos. off the batt. Directly to the coil? Ignition lights should light up regardless of the switch position, your bypassing it entirely. Do that and see if you get a spark out of the coil king lead and off the plug leads.
  20. Two small screws hidden on the sides of the cover. Be careful as the covers can crack easily and the small snap-on clips at the bottom snap off with great ease..
  21. I thought that you'd sorted it,but re reading the post you still need the LA version.. I'll post it over asap mate.

    Help Please

What model corrado owen? Single fan or twin, Vr6 style? What number has your control unit got? Cheers-Andrew.
  23. I imagine that Your using an original Bosch yellow sticker coil with external amplifier? Have you checked to see if 12v+ is present at the coil terminals with the ignition on? Have you tried pulling the main ht lead out from the coil tower to see If you get a spark on turning over the engine? Might be a duff ign. switch contact, exclude it by hot wiring a wire from the pos. terminal of the battery to the positive side of the coil, +1 or +15, I can never remember which one is the +I've side of coil, it's 45 degrees here in Rome and I'm frazzled.. Try doing those tests and report back.
  24. All done Dave, £18 just sent onto your account mate. Thanks.
