  1. GSf do sell them and also there is the MK3 TDI windage tray... Or try here if not VW as Jim suggested... http://www.vwspares.co.uk/corrado_other.php
  2. Probably altho a small leak is not a particuarly bad thing - that needs sorting... Get a new sump while your at it (and bolts) - VR6 sumps are nice and cheap!
  3. If you know someone with a trade card or staff discount then order these from Halfords - cheaper than anywhere on the web...
  4. Yeah thats early... Part number 536 941 115 if you ever come across one...
  5. Does he understand how to RR a G60??? you only rev it round until the power drops off, hopefully he was running some air into the IC at the time as well...
  6. TVR are cheaper than VAg but not by much... If you're bored you could also ring McLaren and get a price - I would make sure your sitting down tho with half a bottle of brandy on standby... Halofrds also do stick over replacements for £6.49 if your original is still intact
  7. Bearimgs are a common mk4 part so will be instock at the dealers - interestingly my mate at the Audi dealer says they generally only change the bearings and not the rubber dohnuts - I was under the impression that it was the rubber that would wear...! Mate - sounds like you have a spring not seated correctly but not sure if this is posible with coilies...
  8. Probably not if just the bonnet unless he has changed the wings, slam panel and lights also... There is not much difference between the lights but it's 1cm or so that makes the crucial difference so the lenses are not interchangable... If you give me the numbers off one of the lights I can probably tell you..
  9. Nice one - any chance of some more info on paints and rust prevention - maybe start a new thread...
  10. Yeah - Jabba are running Wills on there Turbo G60 trackcar, they are the new ones with dustseals etc...
  11. Hmm thats not right either - should be about £150 inc VAt - try GPC or maybe a brake/abs specialist...
  12. Hi there - you could PM Gazman on here as he has one fitted to a dizzy car but he also has a coilpack chip that was made using the original data from the original dizzy eeprom.
  13. Ah no - they were £8.40 from VW earlier this year but now obselete... keep an eye on eBay

    What Oil

Yeah - I don't think it's castrol unfotunatly looking at the packaging... You know Synta is made by Castrol becuase the bottles are the same and the helpline phone number is almost the same... That oil is 31.99 for 5 ltrs so it's ok on bogof but not exactly a baragin considering we don't know how good it it... PD oil is the same price... might get one of each to try as I have no oil at all in stock
  15. Man, that looks fantastic! How much did you pay for the crossmember? Is everything else new - pulleys etc or did you powdercoat?
  16. If it's a late car I would really advise buying a new lense while you still can!
  17. Driveshafts - mine are custon using MK4 inner CVs for the 6 spd box and normal Corrado ones for the outers... They were supplied by DriveLink in Gateshead and cost £125 each plus the CV's
  18. Yeah - Mk4/5 mounts are completly different as the engine is suspended at each side with the pendulam mount running from the rear subframe to take the torque of the engine - these need welding in and the location of the pendulam is not ideal as the rear subframe is not bushed like the front crossmember of the Corrado which usually holds the engine... that said I don't get a huge amount of vibration thru to the cabin and engine movement is not excessive...

    What Oil

Yep, 10-50W seems the perfect weight for FI applications etc... Halfords are currently doing BOGOF on there own brand stuff - not used it yet but they do a PD oil and also a 10-50 Trackday oil!
  20. Yep, GSF used to do SKF bearings and OE topmounts etc but not any more... they are now sourcing jap bearings that in my opinion are not fit for purpose... Prices have gone up and parts quality is down, if I do by any non genuine suspension stuff it's from AVS (http://www.vwspares.co.uk) - far cheaper than GSF, website is clearer and easier to use and they don't get stuff wrong... As above, non genuine bits like Febi will last 2-4 years, OE will last another 8-12 - you get wat you pay for!
  21. I'm sure it could, I'm running a MK4 AJM engine with 6 speed box and it suits the Corrado really well, loads of torque! The mkV engines are even more refined, quieter with better gearshifts, great conversion to do to a 15 year old Corrado with a tired engine
  22. They are glued not to come off becuase they are side mounted but I really wouldn't worry about it - loads of paople are driving about with them just pushed on and i've never heard of one spinning off...
  23. Hello, Does anyone know if Goodridge or silmilar do a replacement for the flexi hose running to the clutch slave? I assume is posible to make one with parts from RalDes...
