    Good write up Sir - that pollen filter is bl00dy expensive now - I paid £12.99 for mine at a show - may be worth people trying Halfords as they are a Jetex dealer...

    It will only be surface rust but that happens when the top mounts are knackered and the top plate starts hitting the paint... you have the later plates tho with the rubber suround - how old are the top mounts?

    I have the same problem with the MIntex Extreme and have had several phone calls to there technical people who have suggested several thing to try but with no avail... GSF say they have had alot of complaints and will refund so i am taking them off this week - the other thing i wasn't told when I first bought them is that they also should not be used with standard discs - i was told this after i complained that they have half worn out a pair of £60 VAG discs in 6k miles.

    You will need one of these - gasket for the foliage grill... 191819166 - £5 You also want to get 5 of these - 535853832A 03C and 535853837 for the windscreen trim.

    Yep - belt is less than a fiver from VW.

    There isn't one, ABF is digifant based... there is just an air intake temp sensor which isn't critical...

    itsnevo, welcome to the forum... The Corrado uses standard ISO - there should be a switched live - either a yellow or red wire...

    If it blows imediatly then you have a short somewhere... Have a look at whats on that circuit and look at / unplug devices to find the culprit...

    Whats the problem - the roof doesn't close? May be an aftermarket alarm or imob cutting the power too quickly...

    What engine and year is it?? Has it had a clutch recently? It could be caused by a mobile phone being too near to the clocks but it is most likely to be the speed sensor on the gearbox - about £15 from VW.

    Either that or Ignition switch....

    Stan 24v, thats for a VR6 serp belt tho... 16V's have a seperate PAS belt.
