  1. New ones are Torx headed, should be replaced every disc change and removed when torqing up hub nuts
  2. Yeah £300 ontop of the price of a new car is nout...
  3. Spot the newbie  It's like an exposed ball joint that you can get a bolt thru...
  4. Yep I did, just the PDI part of the kit tho altho I wouldn't mind the bag etc if you happen to loose one Baz! Tip - some of the stuff on eBay comes with the aerosol stuff for the interior that AG pulled because of fumes! - so make sure you get the newer one with just bottles...
  5. Or... single wiper kit with citroen wash/wipe arm?
  6. Hello - if you have the proper loom and all the right lengths etc the relays should live behing the pass side door card where there are already mounting holes and an earth point, you just need 2 self tappers and a nut for the earth... Then the loom goes down that side and the seat part braches off and can be tied to the existing loom with those re-usable clips down there, the rest goes up and behind the shelf to the switch and over to the fusebox... i'm working on finding those locations now - there is a pic on a thread on here but it's very blurry...
  7. I take it you've bolted the relays to the rear panel opposie the e/w relays, there is also an earth point there where a brown wire goes... Then you have 2 (5 or 6 ? pin) plugs for the seats, a 7 pin for the swicth and then the 2 that go into the fuse box (where I do not know tho)
  8. Yep - I think all events should be organised on this forum but also advertised in the sprinter and to the eGroup but otherwise I don't think there is anything to be gained from a merger at this point...
  9. Well, I just bought the first one for £6 plus another £6 delivery, can't go wrong at that price but I wouldn't mind the full kit if someone sees one cheap...
  10. 3corsameal, ah cool - yeah there is more to that one, still, I was quoted £79 for that from my Audi dealer!!!
  11. Anyone had experience of the above? They are £150 in my local VW dealer and £80 trade but they seem to be going for peanuts on eBay - ie £20 inc P&P!! - Is this the real deal?
  12. I tried the AG cleaner along with several other off the shelf products and didn't find any of them that good at actually shifting dirt... The Mer stuff is the only one I have found to work so far!!
  13. Hmmm, all the WPC's round here look like they are going for an audition for the League of Gentleman... :(
  14. Cool - as above, no heavy braking and if you brake from high speed try and come off the pedal a couple of times... running with the handbrake on a click for short periods of time may help the rears bed in too. If you do it properly you should feel the brakes get better over the next 500 miles...
  15. Good man - you'll just have to see how they go as they bed in... Just to confirm - when you cay G60 calipers you do mean off a Corrado G60 don't you (ie not Girling 60 twin pots) It's just if you have fitted the twin pots then you do need the ABS Master Cyl but currently you have the same MC as any other non ABS corrado which should be fine...
  16. Wow! - then you must be VRTrickster's long lost uncle JBOB!?!
  17. Hmmm - there is a hell of alot to the kit on the G60 - if you add up the prices of all the major parts needed on ETKA it comes to about 4k Retail... Not trying to put you off but have you considered you need a different rad, fan and intercooler etc...
  18. I think thats been done a few times but bare in mind that the fan inside the alt will be rubbing backwards to (so less efficient)
  19. Master Cyls are the same by the way, the ABS one is slightly bigger but I have this setup on the G60 with ABS and the TDI without and the TDI pedal feels better...
  20. Nooo! - pump the pedal then attach cable...
  21. Yep if pos... (or weight on them on a ramp lift..) or you can lock it open
  22. It's the mk4's... He needs to bleed with the bias valve open and handbrake cables disconnected then pump the pedal about 50 times so they self adjust before connecting handbrake.
  23. The VW stuff is very good and dries hard but you need air...
  24. You have the tinternet in Ireland!?!  Twin Inlets - have a search on here, a few people running them and they look rather good but quite expensive!
