  1. Yeah, you should do really as they warp - at least replace the O ring... Dinkus bought a GSF rad but once you add the missing elbow, screws and O ring the VAG one works out about a fiver cheaper...
  2. Lee - the GSF rad doesn't come with the plastic elbow...
  3. stickymint, Welcome to the forum... What oil are you using?
  4. Where did you buy the cable from?

You still get a small humpage tho...
  6. The late spec interiors were not available until 92 so that must have been fitted after... check the options list...
  7. Thats the difference i think, the Pattern boxed ones are re-manufactured and the VAG ones are completly new... you couldn't tell unless you sat them side by side...
  8. Check the Vac pipe that feeds the clocks...

  11. Whats that pipe between the wiring loom and the runner for the cable...? It's probably miles away but check it's not catching...
  12. think so - i've previously bought one for an 8V GTi and a Polo so I assume they do the range...
  13. Under your name = an Avatar The pic needs to be resized to 150 by 150 pixels or lower and helps if you save it as a .Jpg file... Then go to your profile to upload it...
  14. Golf VR6 springs will fit but depending on the year of the car and type of springs you may need the upper spring plates as well... Corrado body panels are only available from VAG - try GPC for a good price on a new one... or try the parts for sale section or stick a wanted add up....

They look awful!! - There is a whole page on ETKA dedicated to this option with all the parts numbers listed etc...
  16. Really?? - He's had no end of problems with replacing clutches under warranty over the last year or so and last time I spoke to him he said he's only fit genuine VAG from now on...
  17. Mines drives very well and the torque is great but my mate has a SEAT Ibiza Cupra TDI 160BHP now chipped and it's mental... one of those engines in a Corrado, now your talking!!
  18. About £19k i think... plus any options...
  19. And 60mpg, lol! Yep, I've been meaning to get some pics of mine up but want to tidy up a few bits first... altho all credit needs to go to the previous owner who did all the hard work! Basically mine is an early G60 and retains the G60 brakes and clutch MC and even the petrol fuel pump as the pressure to the fuel rails does not need to be much, the unit injectors take care of the stupid psi figure that the PD's need to run.... Is an AJM engine out of a 2001 Golf along with 6 spd box with all the original mounts welded in, custom driveshafts and pipework to the original G60 intercooler which is now front mounted. The MK4 Clocks are fitted and everything that can work does work and everything else turned off in the guage cluster via VAGCOM, the G60 fuse box is retained and an additional one added the other side for the MK4 stuff... It goes really well and feels like a MK4 Golf except more exciting to drive!
  20. Sounds like they've fitted either faulty CV joints or the wrong ones completly!
  21. No worries - you know you will need some 6mm spacers as well to fit the 312's?
  22. In the UK its about 45mph on the early ones and 55 on later models In europe it's about 70 i think... Have a search on here for more info...
