  1. Just get what the dealer sells - sorry no part number off hand... I doubt it will cure the pinking tho, you need to check the ignition timing then look at the engine/ecu sensors...
  2. Maplins do them in the stores - I got a loads of 12V ones a while back...
  3. You could just use an early one, same fit but only £18+vat now...
  4. You snapped the hall sender plug off?? - what engine have you got?
  5. There is a place at Marks Tey (A120/Standsted turnoff) which is meant to be good - can't remember the name tho..
  6. FurkiG60, RW1 comfirms this above with part number!!
  7. You've not had a clutch change by Mr Clutch have you?
  8. Exactly! - and this is why I go straight to the manufacturer wherever I can with this sort of thing becuase the idiots in the shops don't have a clue!
  9. I'm reading the text and all I can think of is this ...
  10. Good effort! - much welding involved?? All for need to do now is send it off for leather trim!
  11. Thats fine mate - as long as it reguarly used and not for very short journeys... I'd say you use is spot on for making the car last a long time, just make sure the oil is changed at least every year, brake fluid every 2. Other things you can do is to not park it with the handbrake it you can help it and go round it with Wd40 once a month to stop stuff seizing up...
  12. McGaurd only do a certain number of different ones - chances are that Halfords hay have the right one in a set on the shelf if your desperate... I think they are lifetime warranty too so shouldn't have to pay if you need to send it off...
  13. Yep, thats normal... The lack of reflector means it looks slightly different but as long as they are not left on for ages then it won't do any harm... I think you can buy the light unit off a LHD car to get a reflector on both sides (can anyone confirm this?)
  14. Good man! Yeah, just drive round with the sunroof tilted for a bit to 'air' the car...
  15. Yeah, was gonna say - it's a proper write off as well, completly f*cked! Say you bought it back and broke for parts - I reckon you'd struggle to make £500 out of it, offset that against your time and it's worthless, just scrap value... No wonder our insurance is so high with these idiots on the road, I reckon that bloke has just cost his insurance company at least 25k!
  16. Cool - make sure you carry a couple of fuses with you and if it happens again the change the pump unit... (I assume the filter is recent?)
  17. I like the look of the Corrado but the Rallye is just as exclusive and a tuned one would blow a standard VR away any day...
  18. Good man - best thing to do when buying an older car...
  19. Jeez - glad you ok mate as looking at the photos It did look like a big smash! The Mazda bloke should be done for driving without due care - doesn't look like there is a problem with visability out that junction!
