  1. Never made by Hella - Tinting spray is the way to go... Use the search!
  2. The Brembo's aren't really cost effective any more as the dealers have got wise and doubled the price of the calipers and other bits so what was a £300 pound conversion is now nearly £700!
  3. Hi, The red being the RSk kit I think? Not tried it but but what i've read it's probably better to spend the extra on the yellow top-adjustables and H&R's which seem to be a proven choice and give a good even all round drop of about 35mm...

    clutch

No. The clutch is hydraulic on all Corrado's, generally if it bites high then the clutch is knackered and if low (bite point near to carpet) then you have a problem with the hydraulics - most likely candidate is a leaky slave cylinder ontop of the gearbox... Whats the problem?
  5. Looks a good install by VW there to me!
  6. They're are 'Taper' style bearings...
  7. Oil in the cap may have contaminated the hall sender... Start with the basics first tho, try a known good battery or try to jump it...
  8. Nah - swap it over first to see... A knackered fan will draw more current and therefore blow the fuse - as long as the big resister is still ok then chances are it will be fine!
  9. Yeah, Mat - they're called Xchange not refurbs, I reckon the old ones do get rebuild and just go off to 'pattern' parts places...
  10. We're talking rears here tho, these are only done up hand tight! Also could be the stub axle but i'd just replace the bearing again - get an SKF one this time!
  11. Guys - Lucas Girling are one company!
  12. Yep, your engine will constantly be in timing mode and running flat! You can also measure the resistance across the pins on the sensor, very high or no reading then it proves it's knackered!
  13. You just need to disconnect the wiring plug to it, also blue coloured - just squeeze the metal clip to release it...
  14. New ones are about 50p each...
  15. golfgti.co.uk and clubgti.com
  16. The number plate light surround - that panel is available from the dealers for less than a fiver btw!!
  17. Err... depends what we're talking about - the lower sheild on the cat stops the car setting fire to grass beneath it but the heat sheilding above the exhaust pipes is crucial and should only be repaired, never removed - it will heat up the gear linkage for one...
