  1. Maybe worth giving Vince a call and getting him to have a look then....
  2. Drove a G60 with Weitec yeasterday, very impressed and it also had poly bushes all round, no where near as stiff as I thought it would be!
  3. The 2 extra hoses are for the read break bias valve near the axel. Sounds like you may have got air into the ABS pump, there is a procedure for fixing this but it involves VAG-COM and 170 presses of the brake pedal.... Might be an idea to get some specialist advice, are you near to anywhere like Stealth Racing at all?
  4. Could be - does the MFA read ok?? ...Could also be the heater matrix!
  5. Yeah - not seen the Corrado one but a mate has one in a Polo and it's vey good quality.
  6. If yours are original and the cars done over 80k's then change em! Look for scoring on the disk, flat spots (warpage) and thickness (can't remember off hand the tollerances) - If your pads are completly down to the metal and you've been driving around then you've probably knackered them anyway, get new ones and the brakes will be like new again! GSF do Brembo disks that I hear are very good (not tried em) but out off all the other makes i've tried that GSF sell I think the VW ones are better, last much longer and they are balanced! - they also seem to work really well with the Fast Road Pads.
  7. Supercharged

    Bust odometer

Yep, it's stored on the gauge cluster - Guy Hartley will be able to correct it for you tho...
  8. VAG disks - £50 (thats the price if you get discount) Pagid FR Pads - £35 (from GSF) £100 inc vat for the parts then 1 hour labour so maybe £150 total.
  9. Halfords do em... £99
  10. Yeah, mind you Kev - you swapped the crank bolt in no time at all, it was the cambelt we spent the next 3 days doing, lol
  11. Yeah - suprised they didn't have a normal 22mm socket as well!
  12. StuartFZR400, you need at least V rated, that tyre you have may be an old one?? - never seen one without a speed rating before....
  13. Unless you want to go for the RS style etc, VAG are the only place to get Corrado body parts, maybe worth puting an ad in the wanted section tho!
  14. Yup, just fitted mine from Daves16v, it's good but you will need a dremmel to get the old one out!
  15. Dom's hopefully bringing me an almost new 4bar pump down so we can use that if needed but GSF should hopefully have some down there...
  16. OK - last time I heard of someone having a noisy pump straight after a service, it turned out the fuel filter was fitted the wrong way round - deffo worth a check!
  17. Yep new bolts is a good idea for any 10 year old car... As for getting the old ones out - Soak overnight with Plusgas Hammer the allen socket all the way in One short-sharp belt to release.
  18. Nah, bumpstops stop the shocks bottoming out and assist the springs to return, they have no effect on ride-height, the car is probably wowered on Eibachs which are renowned for giving dodgy height inconsistancies between front and rear.
  19. Take it back anyway but it may just be a loose HT lead etc...
  20. yeah - you can swap it over without loosing much coolant, I'll tell you how when i see ya...
  21. I'm fairly sure your radiator thermoswitch is knackered - mine did the same, only cut in at 110, buy a new one at Inters... Also - are yo sure it's the low water level light flashing, not the oil pressure - worth checking...
  22. Good stuff - those Banbury roads are great! What new kit has Vince got???
  23. I'm not so sure tho Mat - If it goes 50/50 it means that neither party is admitting liability so surely the claim is non fault...
