But you want two driver's side ones, m8.....
-
Click on the bit that says silver fusion m8....
-
They should do... if not, you could always try some silver fusion ones. Quite funky.
-
Well, it would seem that the permnament live is either disconnected or faulty.. so its working on ignition live. Anyone any ideas? That's a bit of the car I haven't taken apart yet so don't know much about it ;)
-
Didn't get round to it in the end - so thanks very much for the info! I'll go out to the car in a bit, armed with a tape measure, and check :) And yeah, been kinda tied up....
-
Sounds like a fuse. Does your glove-box light work? If not - its the same fuse IIRC. Fuse 16, 15amps. Check fuse 21 too (also 15amps) - as this does some dash-stuff too. Hope its just that and not something serious :?
-
Yeah, was probably gonna do that in the end, actually... I'm just lazy and wanted to see if someone else would find out for me ;) I'll order a drivers-side tomorrow and pick it up next week when I get back from the Mrs.
-
Erm, I'd need a Lupo GTI wiper first, though, m8.
-
I'd like to know exactly, since I need the make sure the passenger side will wipe the rain sensor... if its too small and misses it - I'll have to live with the bigger passenger side one with it up at an angle.

Would be very interesting to see what happens re. website. Guy Hartley has no time in order to maintain it - and I have been asked - even though I'm not a member of the CCGB. But the title would involve a free membership :) I, however, don't want this forum to have anything to do with the CCGB. A link on the website, however, would be acceptable  I would be more than happy to help the CCGB out with the website, do some hosting, help Guy in whatever way. So you lot may put forward my bid ;)

Arrange to race him once a day for a month. You'll win at least 50% by default, since it won't start, or it'll break down... 8)

4wd have great grip, but also massive drive-train losses. The scooby is by far the worse. Drive train loss from flywheel to wheels is 50%!! So same engine, but 4wd, makes it slower than a 2wd counterpart. Good for us :) Now, a Synchro Corrado VR6 Turbo or S/C..... Mmmmmmm

I've heard main dealer ones are a lot better quality. So yeah, save your pennies and get a GSF - but it'll need replacing sooner :?

There's female logic for you - you're more likely to die in a car crash than be in a plane crash!! Did you also know that at 30,000 feet, half your taste-buds don't work. This means that airline food and wine has to be specially produced. The wine tastes disgusting on the ground - so you need to go 30,000 feet up to make it taste right. Useless fact #2: If you rub garlic on the sole of your foot - the smell will appear on your breath within 20 minutes. Hmmm. I need to get out more.

Corrado spotting (old one from 2003 - dont use!)
Andi replied to CazzaVR's topic in General Car Chat
I'll be west-side - if you're to/from Cantebury, you'll be on the east-side :( And I'll be pulling up in Derby about 4pm. Ah well :Fade-color -

The amount of miles I do, I'm suprised no-one's spotted me yet! Anyone gonna be on the M25 & M1 Friday during the day? I will, back up to Derby from Croydon.... Catch me if you can  -
Nah, leave that to who it looks alot better on.
-
Nah, kinky underwear and an insaitable appertite 8)

I can't I'm afraid... The Mrs. is taking me away! And she's more attractive than you, Ant...

There is no way the C speedo goes out by 11mph at 100mph. I don't know how it was before - but my speedo is dead right at 100mph on 205/40/17s - 'cos I have SatNav which shows you the speed whilst 7 satelites are tracking me  The difference between 205/40/17s and 205/50/15s at 100mph is about 1-2mph iirc - not a great difference.
-
Especially for Londonners - one trick to avoid the CC - get another Corrado owner to foot the bill. I will be keeping mine covered, just in case someone trawls the site for a suitable plate.

I would've thought it was something like that - but the majority of the time they don't work after pulling the keys out and not opening the door :( I don't think my ignition barrel has the "push-in to keep the stereo on" function anymore - so maybe thats affecting it. My stereo is on all the time - handy really, since it makes sure I mask it (manual Kenwood mask - why the MP3 one is manual I dunno!).
-
When are the windows supposed to work with the ignition off? ie. no keys in the ignition at all. I find most of the time they don't - but occasionally they do and I can't figure out why! One time was whilst, erm, getting jiggy. Ignition was off, fumbling about, and the frigging windows decided to roll down... damn foot.... hehe.

Nope, its 36 front, and 32 rear. Bare in mind the VR6 has 205 tyres - and the G60 is 195. Due to having thinner tyres, they get more pressure on them, so they'd need a higher pressure inside. So the label is probably right, julez. Remember back to physics - the woman in the stellettos exerts more force with her heel than an elephant - cos of the surface area in contact with the ground.
