Centre-brake light makes it American. Five-stud wheels though - isn't that SLC? And the red-lettering under Corrado? Again American - lack of side-repeaters. But 5-stud again? LHD? Thats why the steering wheel is on the wrong side..... :lol: Ducting from bumper to the brakes? I would guess RHD due to the position of the impact. VR6 lump visible. Driver's airbag gone off.

The strip was very slippy. All the time was lost on the first 1/8 mile, scrambling to get traction. The increased drag from lower tyre pressures for the second 1/8th of a mile would be insignificant in comparison. I think in this instant, it was right to lower the psi alot, in order to try and get a lot better take off, and not be spinning the wheels all the way into 3rd. I also think Ant would've got better 1/4 mile times if we'd taken the car to Canada and done a 1/4 mile on a frozen lake! :)

The track was very slippy. No-one got a good time at all. Ant was running about 16sec for 1/4 mile - but it was very hard to get traction and wheel spinning up into 3rd! Thanks :) Just Copyrighted it. I like taking delayed-exposure shots.

What's the mileage of the engine? Charger condition? ie. due service, or done recently?

Aircon. Normal uses air from outside, Max will change the air to recirculating and give you maximum coldness. Turn the fan onto 1, then press them both in, and you should hear a motor whirr as the air recirc. level moves. Have a look under the bonnet and you will find a aircon plate somewhere. Most likely a Daviair system. Got one in mine too.

That's assuming I can still see after the eighth pint.... :lol:

Ooh I bet that's scary. Just makes you realise how much petrol you really use :shock: I can imagine a litre - so I'd be able to visualise how much I'd used. A gallon? No idea!

Ah, one handy thing in having a manual Kenwood mask :) Thanks for all the great temp. sensor notes - mine hasn't worked since I bought the car, so will be good to finally get it working :) It does occasionally work... so might try cleaning it up and reconnecting it all. Nice one, Chris.

Well, the position of the 8 on those dials is where the 7 is on the VR6. VR6's redline at 6500ish revs.
