Working from home for a day is murder - gives me access to wheel websites, looking for similar (but different) wheels to the Team Dynamics and found these as possibilities, the more I look the more indecisive I become:

Thinking of getting the gloss black - at £550 delivered including tyres its a great price, if I don't like the gloss black then I'll get them sprayed satin - will probably still be cheaper than getting a one off set from Team Dynamics - however its got to be worth dropping them a line.....just in case.

Just going to make sure the Bora doesn't need any unexpected work at its service tomorrow then looks like I'm ordering the Pro Race in gloss black :lol:

Only other wheels that I've considered are these

Done some checking and an't get 4x100 17" in the flat black so looks like it will have to be gloss or go down to 16".

I can't seem to make a set of wheels last more than 12 months before I fancy a change - this would be the 4th set since I bought the car just over three years ago. Still not 100% convinced by the gloss black, they are also available in flat black, anthracite or silver - gloss black ones are currently £100 a set cheaper than the other colours

They are approx 7.5kg without tyres so reasonably light. My other half hates black wheels but she'll hopefully be in labour tomorrow so she won't be in any fit state to stop me buying them. Can get a set with tyres - delivered for £540 which I think is a pretty reasonable deal ET is 38 on these - will that be ok?

Seller says he's refunded my money but it usually takes a few days to transfer electronically - have to wait and see what the early part of next week brings

Must admit to being really disappointed with total lack of response from the E38 Moderators, as soon as refund was offered they locked the thread, appreciate its not their fault but didn't seem as if they were interested in the behaviour of a Forum user - must steer clear of committing to buy from E38 now

Decided to take the refund - really can't be bothered with the grief tbh - not as if it would get me the brakes. Sometimes like sucks :?

Fortunately I have some contacts and now have the blokes home address, I'm taking him to the small claims court - its not so much about the brakes its 100% about the principle of acting in good faith. Totally sick and tired of people behaving like this and getting away with it

Its certainly easier buying and selling on here - never had any problems at all - the rules might be strict here but they are there to protect all parties - Corrado Forum RULES OK :lol:

They were originally up for £550 + postage, they eventually came down to £450 + postage but there were still no takers, we agreed £425 incl. postage and I sent the money immediately. Apparently he's been offered £525 and buyer will collect, extra £125 he wants from me is to match the other offer plus £25 to cover postage. Whilst I accept that my offer is lower, he agreed to it and took my money - Id be kiking myself at missing out on abetter offer BUT I would honour the deal I had with the original buyer (whose money I'd already taken) I'm getting more and more angry about this now

Dead easy, couple of screws in each front wheelarch and four bolts underneath, two each side, the outer two of a row of 3, pretty obvious when you look underneath, bumper then just slides off after you've disconnected the lights. I can do it in less than 10 mins now, first time round will take longer but its certainly not difficult

I tried to keep all negotiations in the thread on E38 but he kept PM'ing me, as soon as I sent the money I stated so in the thread but it was never locked - hoping the Moderators can have a quiet word in his ear

Agreed a price on some AP brakes with an Edition 38 forum user and sent money electronically via the requested bank transfer less than 10 minutes after coming to an agreement. Received a PM from seller today saying that he's had a better offer but he would still be happy to sell the brakes to me if I pay him an additional £125 via PayPal WTF :bad-words: I know I can't force him to sell me the brakes but I payed immediately and it isn't like I forced him to agree to my offer To say I'm hacked off is a slight understatement
