Sorry to hear the news, can't imagine what its like to lose someone so close
-
...the more I look at them the more I like them
-
The pics apparently are only a mock-up, production has not started yet, I'm hoping they look a little more OE
-
Shame that the P2 will never built - built purely to showcase the anti-lag and differential systems. Its actually built around the firewall and frontal structure of a Subaru small hatchback that is not sold in the UK - looked like a very impressive bit of kit
-
I'll be a test subject if you can identify which filter I need to buy
-
Looks interesting, which one would fit a G60 - also depends on costings
-
Apparently its now looking like September before they reach the UK, I'm down for a set but still undecided on them
-
Not what I heard from a senior bod at Volkswagen Group this afternoon, Volkswagen have huge numbers of excess staff in German that they can't get rid of, they need to keep them busy building something
-
I have £500 deposit on one at a VW retailer, early rumour is that Feb '08 is the launch date. Guarantees me the first one they get - obviously refundable if I decide not to go ahead
-
Along with an Alfa SZ, a 911 is the only car I am totally committed to owning before I'm too old to enjoy driving
-
Ouch, always sad to see a Rado like that but more important that you got out of it in one piece, I wonder how well a Chimera would have stood up to the impact
-
... now this is positively evil looking
-
Total piece of junk, massively overweight, chronically underpowered, poor handling, extremely dodgy styling, built for fat Americans who want to sit at 55MPH on the Freeway. Acquaintance of my dads in Loughborough bought ten brand new ones at the receivers auction, seem to remember he paid less than £5k per car, still got zero mileage on them and never been registered, parked up next to ten zero mileage MGB LE's, talk about poor taste and dodgy speculating!!!!
-
I really like those guages
-
Not sure TBH, fogs look strange
-
Does not work for me
-
No grey area at all re: MOT, all that needs to be checked is a. Headlights work and b. level is ok, thats info direct from VOSA
-
Yes, already using an uprated loom but the only connections I needed were the ones within the headlight itself - no need to modify the existing wiring at all. Its amazing how yellow the standard lighting is when you compare it to Xenon, brilliant white light that makes driving at night much safer and more enjoyable
-
All that was needed were the bulbs, bulb holders and transistor packs - complete set cost me £200 plus an hour to fit, virtually plug and play, no need to touch the loom at all
-
Had my Xenons fitted into the In-Pro's yesterday - totally reversible installation, all parts taken from one of last years Audi R8 race cars, output is absolutely fantastic and at long last makes full use of the In-Pro lights

People Running Front Solid Engine Mounts Please read....
Andy665 replied to Shaggy's topic in Engine Bay
Had a JMR front mount on my Aqua for 30k now, I did the sensible thing and replaced the rear mount at the same time, only replacing the one mount is asking for trouble after being on the car for so long Fair to say that my JMR mount is the highest mileage one around. Have got Vibratechnics fiytted to my Nugget, both equally as good and durable as each other in my experience -
I'll get some pics for you, they will even let you choose the stitching colour

I've got one of those from E-Bay, together with a matching gear lever gaiter, damned good quality for the price
