  1. just sound like the snorkal has been removed to me. there is NO ducting as standard on a corrado to the air box.
  2. have you noticed a change in performance too ? i would say the old filter must of been so full of crap i was restricting your engine of the fuel "it thinks it needs"
  3. scott morgan @ elite 1000 had the conversion done on that certian golf... a also know of a few other mk3's running g60 set ups but these started life a 8v gti's btw i think scot os registered on here too.

  6. glad you are happy with your kit.
  7. Thank you for the plug henny. Yes we do produce our own version of the 1.9 bottom end as do many other companies I would get as many varied opinions on this conversion as possible as they all have there own differences to them and you need to be sure the package you choose is the one for you. Our conversion includes: Rebore block to 83mm. Brand new custom spec forged pistons developed/manufactured in the UK FULLY lightened and BALANCED bottom end. Crank/flywheel/rods/clutch plate/pulleys. New consumable parts i.e. Bearing / caps / etc etc Windage tray. Also schrick baffled sumps available at extra cost Custom grind Cam shaft. eprom developed/supplyed by SNS tuning Figures: Corrado g60 running above bottom end with STD intercooler / 68mm pulley (6psi as boost leak on back of clocks) and power run after aprox 2k 200bhp @ 5850rpm 199lbs @ 2100rpm 242lbs @ 5400rpm Im sure you will agree with these figures it make the higher cc/ higher comp bottom ends a very worthy conversion and just goes to show you do not need to spin the chargers to within an inch of there life’s to make these cars into what they should of came from the factory like…. Regards G-werks/PSD
  8. Ah that takes me back to my MK2 days, looks nice. I think the Borbet A looks better on the angular MK2 than it does on a curvey Corrado, but that's just my opinion! i have to agree but only seem to work well when using the larger g60 plastic arch's..
  9. almost correct as far as i understand there were indeed 2 16vg60 corrados produced by vwms one u see above the yellow bodykitted one (2wd) and another std body'd 4wd 16vg60 i have not actually seen pics of the std body'd one though so it could be a myth. i do know that the yellow one above was involved in a slight accident a while back and was undergoing a major rebuild dont know if its now finished or not.
  10. i would go for the toyo's asif...
  11. http://www.dubforce.net are having a xmas quiz open to all menbers.. why not pop across and join up for all your forced induction needs... and have a chance of winning a prize in the xmas quiz at the same time
  12. correct... later g60 had a revised rocker cover where the filler cap sits proud of the cover. early ones and golfs/rallyes had this with a recessed filler cap and an overflow hole in the front.
  13. dalj - looking good mate very nice.. do u need that pedal box still as steve will be coming up in a week or so i would think for x-mas..
  14. hello and welcome to the forum...
  15. never rely on a jack alone when working on your car.. invest in a set of axle stands its alot safer.. your toes will thank you for it.
  16. i think you have missed this one out too.....
  17. Difficult one this as there are so many quailty corrados on here at the moment, all of the above are turely outstanding but if i had to choose one it would have to be bananaman, not because its better quailty than any of the others (god i hate them white wheels too) but for the huge effort he has put into his car over the past year to get it all sorted and not given up when it all went wrong etc etc . He deserves an award as i think i would of thrown it away months ago if it were mine...well done you get my vote anyway...
  18. why were you looking so pale then mate..
