Coming home last night spotted a red Corrado "L346***, looked very nice. You were just coming into Highworth from Shrivenham. I was in a Skoda VRS. Anyone?

I must say I use all the megs stage products and I have been impressed with the results. Value against shine I think its up there. Jake before the dust got to the car the VRT had a quick treat with the megs Tech spray then a rub over with carnuba wax. As for car covers I can't say enough about http://www.coveryourcar.co.uk/. Ok it is dear but as I was away at intervals of 8 weeks or more at a time I wanted a good cover. It is not universal so fits the Corrado well, you just have to remember to fold mirrors in. In the pics of blackberries2 the first picture shows both Corrados. The VRT had just had the cover taken off after 9 weeks away. You may notice the sponge ariel, that just to protect the cover. If you look at the original and the rain on it, that shows how well the cover did :clap: :clap: Oz

Nice car. The LM reps do look good. A good depth of shine on the car too :D

I spent 6 hours polishing and cleaning the VRT ready for meet at the Air Balloon. Didn't get round to the tyres so if I have time will do that tomorrow. Also need to check oil and then enjoy the drive :norty:

I think the vag mats are worth the money too, they last and if you keep clean look vg to. My only gripe unless someone can tell me different is that VW only sell in sets and since for years it was mostly 1 person in the car the only mat that I need replacing is the drivers one :mad2:

totally agree. Sorry for the loss, I would agree with all comments on standing firm on getting a good price. Years ago I had a XR2 which was written off by a UNIMOG :censored: we had looked after her and a week before the crash had put new suspension £400 spent. Their first offer was 1650 but after sending pics and all receipts for keeping her in tip top condition we got £2500 :clap:

Have just spent about 1/2 hour reading through this whole thread. Australia looks so nice and having such a rare car must be ace. Good on you; did you move round Oz due to work or to see if there were better places to settle. Your C looks absolutely stunning, I can't wait to respray my original blackberry. Will keep up with this thread now hoping to see more lovely scenic shots of Oz with a C taking centre stage.
