    Nope...I have done an engine swap and an fitting an aftermarket ecu, need to find the wire for the fuel pump relay so it can be connected to the new ecu. Was told it was the red/yellow wire and there should not be 12v coming from it. not the case though?

    Bit stuck trying to find the wire that goes to the ECU that makes the fuel pumps kick in. Was told it was red/yellow, and to test it by earthing on the car body (fuel pumps should prime). However before earthing to check there is no 12v supply coming from the wire....prob is I have 12v coming from the red/yellow wire??? :scratch: Any guidance most appreciated... :notworthy:

    Minor updates.....been doing mostly fiddly small stuff. E.g. fabed up a rad bracket and water res mount, now finally fitted the rad including slimline fans. fans.JPG[/attachment:sygc5gwa] Plan to fit the loom later tonight and do the fuel lines and water hoses sometime next week.

    ok thats handy to know, any one got a pic ???? For the fuel rail the top rail is the fuel return. As denoted by the small arrow LOL just noticed it last night!

    Went into the stealers again this week....they defo can't get it? What part number is the bolt? is the bolt a good few cms long?

    Hi mate, Fuel pipe colours: Fuel feed = Black Fuel return = blue Not sure which is which on the fuel rail though? Also are you sure the tacho wire on the C loom isn't the blue/green one?

    Corrado already has the holes on the subframe. You will have to hack off one of the subframe clips and also trim off parts of the fins of the FMIC as they don't allow the lights to fit back in. Dependant on what FMIC you have Rallye or G60. If you have the Rallye one you will have to hack the fron towing eye support Apart from that its a awesome fit! PS VW can't seem to get hold of bolt number 5

    Hi mate, Haven't looked at the car for a couple of days now...going thru withdrawl I think! The temp sensor wire runs towards the drivers side bulkhead and disappears behind the brake fluid res. Still haven't got round to checking the fuel pipes :( As for extra electronics, no ideas yet :scratch:
