Very good stuff.. I used to use that on my old one although i didn't find it worked well on the ones i have now.. Ive got a couple of shows up here next month, Harewood and I'm tempted for E38 but its a long way from here..

Good size show to have on the door step.. Result.. Still thinking about Tatton, there are a lot of shows coming up so may not make it… Are you using the original Gliptone stuff? Cleaner looks like treacle?

I know its not a corrado(SORRY), but my new car to the collection
Goldie replied to vw bobby's topic in General Car Chat
Is the dilemma just about the electric bits or do the late cards not offer up correctly to type 19 panels? Did a type 19 Gti have the electrics? If so I'd convert to that. If it's the panel difference get the cloth professionally removed from late cards and mounted onto your early ones. -

Don't know if it's ever been done but id lien to see a set of these done with leather bolsters. Similar look to rallye recaros. Have you got a full interior or just the seats? -

My all time favourite OE interior. I love ed1s. It's almost like the guys at Vw asked the audience what they would like to see in a mk2 and then delivered the lot. -
Very nice seats. Factoring in the cost outlay of buying recaros, assuming bolsters and wiring to be sound and then a retrim to this standard these are a good price. Best of luck. Again I hope time wasting united won't be playing.

Ideal. This is something I definitely will tackle in the not tok distant. As much as I'm not that taken with the spoiler I wouldn't like it if it didn't work. -

I'd like to Do some preventative maintenance on my spoiler so would do you mean by lubricating everything and what grease do I need? Is it just a case of removing the panel on the boot lid? -
Good home for a great car. Hope you enjoy it. Wheel plans?

Jetta Coupe with a Westmoorland front end and quarterlight doors.. Cool stuff.. What engine has it got? Plans? Keep us informed.. -
Very king words Gareth, it does mean a lot that you like where the car has gone and is going. Having admired the car for many years before i ended up its current owner to have the approval from the man who set the bar for how a Corrado should be done is very nice to know.. I spent a number of hours waxing the RSs yesterday and they now reside in my spare room with red centres on. Ive got to admit the black/gold are probably my least favourite of the 3 sets i have. A nice easy change that does change the overall image of the wheels is great and they will change as the mood suits, no caps will be sold.. Handles are something i have thought about and it will be tried out in the coming weeks to see how it affects the overall presentation. Such a small change on a light coloured car has a big impact unlike a dark coloured one where details such as that are almost lost against the body work.. The VSR has been a while coming, not long now i hope..
-
Nightmare…these things sadly do happen though.. Hope you manage to get a quality job done..
-
Ooo very nice.. The 80mm BBS caps are hard to get now.. Sean you'll have no problem getting some for your RXs (56mm) i believe and reasonably readily available. Ebay and PW motorsport are your best bet.. Wheels are going to look great, the dark cap against the dark paint = spot on..
-
Like many have already said i am surprised to see this up for sale although you have definitely served your time, fair play.. I hope you get a straight forward sale where you get the money the car deserves and not the "its only worth five quid" approach that sadly our cars seem to get..

Stormcharged VR6 is now owned by a guy called ti1103 on here..
-
Jay Renshaw's car is owned by Vick Nagi (VickN) on E38 who did a fabulous job making it even better. I think he still owns it but hasn't been seen out and about for a while.. I believe A20LEE is still owned by Lee but KipVW will know more about that..
