  1. Not messing about there.. Looks like a bargain of a buy that...
  2. What is the mileage, condition on the manifold? Is it wrapped? Any chance of a picture? I could be interested in that if splitting
  3. That is a good price.. I have heard quotes of getting for double that.. Did you take the dash out for them? I know that can help bring the cost down dramatically.
  4. I love the dash...who trimmed that?
  5. Only a scotsman could say that and get away with it.. Im inclined to agree.. If you are going for aftermarket bumpers then skirts are ok. There was a black G60 on here several years ago that ran porsche rims and tombstone seats that looked good.. On standard bumpered cars they just look odd to me...
  6. 2 today for me today, around 2pm.. Dark Late spec car with a dog in the back on the Great Western Road, Glasgow, heading out of town.. 2nd, 10 minutes later, Mystic Storm, last 3 on the plate DCK, followed from Cowcaddens to the Buchannan bus station...
  7. Fair dos... Liked anyway.. Not ideal about the engine.. Best of luck getting it sorted...
  8. You still needing likes on Facebook? I think it looks great without the bonnet.. Is it legal to drive around without it?
  9. Look very nice.. Its not that easy to gauge from pictures but I'm assuming from your praise that the recoating is nice and smooth etc etc.. Have you a got some contact details for them that i can make a note of please...
  10. You could get a 16" steel wheel off a beetle.. That will go over a 312..
  11. I think its just the boot floor piece. Doesn't have an impact on the side walls of the boot..
  12. Its just the piece that sits on the boot floor that is different...
  13. I think the bumper will be too wide for early wings... Im sure you can fit indicators and fogs from a late car (sprung mounted indicators as opposed to screw ins) to your early bumper..
  14. How high is your car? I can't imagine it needs skirts....
  15. Oh come on i never said that...
  16. goodness me... When i was looking to get another Rado there hadn't really been anything that decent for ages.. Since then.. Karls Blackberry, OSV, 2 other silver VRs, 2 x R32s, Guy Hartleys and now a turbo (or 2) in the not too distant....
  17. There was a thread about this not so long ago.. I, for one, think its worth every penny of that.. Its a well known car that has some lovely upgrades...
  18. Goldie

    R32 Corrado

There was no thread for it.... Undercover sale....
  19. Im surprised with the Mk2 comment as you have always said, quite rightly, they are so basic and the driving position is very upright compared to a Rado.. I love Mk2s and so does everyone who is selling them, the prices have gone stupid if you ask me...
  20. Did you work out what colour it is? It isn't reflex silver i don't think. Reflex replaced satin silver around 1999 ish... It is much lighter than your car..
  21. I had a set done at Chameleon and they weren't that good.. It seemed to me that they were just a powder coating firm that had started doing wheels rather than a wheel specialist.. Ill be interested to see the results, always handy to know where refurbs can be done locally..
  22. Could i see a picture of the rubbing strips please..
  23. I could be wrong. It was a few years ago but I think that is the Ipswich one, lady owned. ---------- Post added at 1:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 1:33 PM ---------- Edit. Seems I said that on the last page ages ago. I'm not 100% though
  24. I think eventually a lot of owners will think of selling up. I can't see kip doing it mind. Gareth's car may be new to me but I am a returning owner so I have no radical changes coming. Interested to see if its a familiar name who has acquired keys car. ---------- Post added at 8:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:53 PM ---------- Kevs not keys
