  2. Remove the front end mate lights, bumper fogs etc far easier access if you remove the front!!

  8. can someone confirm that a tt gear knob (just the knob) be used as a direct replacement for the standard gear knob, does it screw on like the standard one?? Thanks Jon
  9. Who has pictures of actually removing the heater matrix without removing the dash?? Was told its impossible by a mechanic want to prove him wrong!

  13. Bump for this where is this relay and is there anything else that could be causing the fuse to blow the dash has been out recently to replace the heater matrix if that makes any difference?? Any help much appriciated needs sorting asap Jon

  17. couldnt see anyway of getting the radiator out without taking the front off! And while i had the bumper off treated some rust that i didnt know was there so worked out to be beneficial in the end!
  18. ^Yeah very true so much easier with bumper off. £180+ from VW bloody hell talk about inflation! mine was £122 quid with staff discount from a mate who works for VW
  19. Have just registered already paid my £10 so hopefully it registers ok
  20. New rad is about £130ish from VW and to replace it is a bumper off job but some people have done it without taking the bumper virtually imposs in a vr engine bay though!
  21. Looks alright mate as said above i wouldnt do it myself but if you dont use it its a valid reason not to have it there atall! See you sunday fella Jon
