I think both of mine are wide angle hence the warning...maybe your passenger side one is convex
-
These for early or late car or are they all the same reflector wise?
-
Was going to get some of them Wes but then a bloke said the bottom edge on his had a distortion type effect in the mirror so opted for DDI ones
-
Might use a bit of aradite to make sure theres no chance of the housing separating from the ddi glass better safe than sorry.
-
Thats alright then i know usa ones only came with writing on one side so thought it was weird writing being on both
-
Thats what i thought but on the ddi website it said as they are a curved mirror some parts of the mirror need a dab of adhesive. But if there was no problem on yours cool. Also do both your mirrors have the "objects appear closer..." on them?
-
I meant the glass to the housing?
-
Thats not going to stop the alarm though is it?
-
What speed does it start to wobble or is it all the time? I kept having a wobble at 60-70 mph and i had my wheels balanced numerous times by kwick fit and it was still there. i even got a wheel refurbished as they said one of them was buckled it still persisted after that so in the end got new front tyres on the front as they needed changing done at national tyres and has been spot on since. Not alot of these big companies get their tyre balancing machine calibrated so ive heard

I thought the yellow sensor on the thermo housing controlled stage 2 fan and the temp dial?
-
Waht alarm have you got nipper, either the battery is totally dead and upsetting the alarm or you need to do a procedure with the alarm buttons usually found in the manual
-
Did you use any adhesive Dragon?
-
Purchased a pair of DDI mirrors from Awesome gti but i need some guidance i know that i need to use the old mirror housing to fix the ddi mirrors to it but whats the recommendations on adhesive to use to stick them together. DDI recommend GOOP but that doesnt exist over here? Any other things i should watch out for whilst changing the mirrors ? Cheers Jon

The bosch maf i got ended in 504 (correct one for corrado vr) the one on euro car parts ends 512 but looks the same part and cheaper than the one i got ill bear that in mind next time i need a maf Know what you mean about the price of a new fuel pump i bit the bullet and got one from vw as i didnt want that nagging doubt "is it going to pack in after a year"
-
Ill be replacing my maf at the weekend with a brand new bosch one, now and then if i come off the gas and go to press again it hesitates for a second then pulls as normal. No set rev range or speed it just happens. Vagcom came up with mixture not reached or something emailed vince and he said check for air leaks which ive done and if its not that its maf or fuel pump (fuel pump changed last year,so not that) Interesting to see what your vagcom throws up
