As if by magic just been looking at replacing mine as i had a damp drivers carpet the otherday and knowing that its not heatermatrix/leak from windscreen it must be the door card membrane. With mine being a late car is the membrane just going to need holes for the wires in different areas than your G60? Price delivered and im in? Cheers Jon

Yeah I remember receiving mine in a huge box and going wow!

Just to put this one to bed I fitted a rubber grommet on top of the clip underneath the gaitor and it pushed it up perfectly. Grommet I used was a standard size off the temp sensors on the thermostat housing fits a treat

Yeah theres RHD linkages - 536 and LHD linkages - 535

Double check the part number you have for the longer linkage fella, it should start 536 if im not mistaken

Just realised I had an original one that I pulled the leather off and that sits flush, so looks like the grooves are different which is weird as its the same part number

What I cant understand is why theres a gap though as all corrado ones ive seen sit flush

Right when i originally got the car it came with a non oem crappy gear knob ive then replaced it with a genuine brand new corrado one but there is a gap when i put the retaining ring on underneath. So when im driving along in 4th the brass on the gear gaitor rattles against the plastic of the gearknob because of the gap and does my head in. Am i missing a part here? All i have is the gear knob, leather gaitor surround and the retaining clip that is put on underneath. Should there be another part inbetween so the brass part sits flush with the gearknob Cheers Jon

No does the light come on when you put the ignition on?

Does the ABS light work if not then its a fuse thats gone mate caused probably by an overload on one of the parts you have listed, mine was the spoiler mechanism

Personally id do it by partially removing the dash parts but it can be fiddly

Unless they are going over to VW classic parts
