    Short answer is no. If you want an even more custom map tailored specifically for your car you will have to go to someone who has the skills and equipment to do it.

    is the car over heating mate?

    johnny-5,is the coolant system working well,i.e are the operating temperatures normal? Any white smoke from exhaust? Also look in the expansion tank for signs of oil getting into the water. Any visable signs of leaks on the HG?

    20 mile drive to work,mixture of A road,motorway and town driving. 40mpg. very rarely see it in the 20's. No performance to speak of however.

    No worries,I got one second hand,just wanted to know for future reference. Screw it in and make sure that when the car is fully warm it idles at the same level as it did b4 it went pop. :) adjust as necessary.

    I did the same thing on Monday. Big Thnks to Boost monkey for the new one. VW don't sell them seperately.

    under what conditions does it start to flash and beep? is it intermittent or constant? No your not the first as the search button will prove. :)

    isv lets more air in on cold start to aid with the extra fuel needed to run a cold engine.Saying thay though I don't think it is your problem. In fact it sounds like you may have more than one prob. Dunno. Keep us posted.

    Agreed,people may have misconceptions to start with but talent will quickly blow past that and doors will open. I think country is one of the most progressive in Europe.Hopefully we are moving towards a level playing field where talent and hard work determine success in life and not status.

    thats quite a list of symptoms. Re,cold starting have you looked at the blue temp sender? or isv? assuming you have checked the basic components of the cooling system etc has your head gasket sealed up nicely after re-build?
