  1. Obviously temperature is related to pressure but the temps that you are talking about shouldn't be enough build enough pressure to blow the pipes . Are you running the blue top expansion tank?
  2. Crank figures are always calculated from wheel figures mate. All rolling roads measure at the wheels.It is only the power that is available at the wheels that counts for anything. Transmission losses are best guess.

    where are you dreaming from? There was an abf sat in my local scrap yard a couple week ago.
  5. go into configurator mode in megetune by doing file->configurator. then do car->settings.ini->settings then highlight celcius and then tick the box. Don't 4get to save.

  7. Try moving the dizzy. Even better use a timing light to find out what actual advance it is using while cranking. If you don't have one you will have to use trial and error positioning the dizzy until it starts over. It will start easier using less than 10 degrees. You'll need a timing light eventually though. what sort of cranking pulsewidths you running at typical startup temps? Are you running an isv? Hopefully we can get you started alot quicker than me and waynos.

  10. MS waits x amount of ignition events b4 firing. This is set in base ignition settings in MS2. I have mine set to wait 4 pulses b4 firing so that MS can orient itself. Is this what you mean?

  12. any signs of overfueling? Black exhaust smoke,or sooty spark plugs. Hopefully the 16valve cavalry will be along soon. They are probably making their way home from e38. :)
  13. Could it be the starter motor is dead? Can you get someone to carefully check for 12 volts on the starter motor when you try to crank it with the key?

    Here you go. Bear in mind though, this is an 'up the tail pipe' AFR reading, and Charlie kept having problems with me blowing it out the end :lol: so basically ignore where it goes really lean after 6500. cheers J. Your a star. How come he didn't use the tap b4 the cat then? Yours is on a j plate isn't it? :salute:

  19. That is EXACTLY what i said to someone. I knew i'd never get done if i stopped everything and went turbo now .My shiny new turbo would just end up being an expensive paperweight. I have enough expensive paper weights knocking around as it is. :lol: small manageable doable projects is the way forward until that lottery money comes in. :salute:
