  1. Is that bad? :D dosn't sound good. :)
  2. you won't if all the little bits of your magnesium scroll end up in your pistons! Lol. oh hush. :)
  3. i'm going 68mm. If it breaks i'll go turbo.
  4. Thanks for your efforts gentlemen. Make for some interesting reading and some very useful info. Much obliged.
  5. :( on the plus side it dosn't make me want to rush out and buy a new car.
  6. pardon me? I didn't follow that bit.
  7. Lots of example of that round these here parts. We're never statisfied. :)
  8. You know what...I keep looking at this and that engine bay really does look good. Well done mate.Quite jealous. :)
  9. thats a great help as we have a nearly identical setup. Thanks alot. p.s blue line is the torque curve?
  10. I was after a proven set of bhp/torque figures like you have just posted. :thumb right: I'd like to see your graph if you don't mind so I can see at what rpm it made these figures. Are u on standard injectors and do u have a fmic? sorry for all the questions but thanks for your help.
  11. Yes :) Er, will let you know after the Stealth r/r day in April  My previous G60 had the same pulley (but not the SNS chip that I have now), and at the time it was allegedly 190bhp and 200lbft, although not verified... I'm keen to find out myself tbh. yeah I hear it is in the 185 bhp to 195 ball park just wondered if anyone had a power run graph or at least the respective torque and bhp high points.... :)
  12. just check it over again and if it seems ok then I think you'll be ok. As the panda one said.Just the engine being able to ingest more air and be more efficient.
  13. Anyone running a 68mm pulley on their G ? What power/torque are you making @ the crank, and at what rpm? cheers 8)
  14. great looking car. Up there with some of the best on here imo.
  15. oh yeah. It would be interesting to know what manifold pressures others have got with a similar setup.
  16. Looks very good by the way. standard pulley should be 0.6 bar according to that geeky guy on the g60 vw tech talk video. errrr... thats 8.7 psi if my maths hasn't let me down. Have a good snoop around.
  17. Wouldn't you want to keep them as light a colour as possible so as not to conduct / heatsoak from other parts of the bay? Or were they a horrible colour before? Today I helped bro with his roof ^^ Yes but I am going for the OE look and these bits are for the G60 not the 16vG60 (which is now sat chargerless as I need it for the G60 :() How come? Are getting the other one serviced? Nosey. :)
  18. great stuff. I'm really enjoying following this one. Keep up the good work.
  19. I would buy 1 of these in a shot if they had the guts to make either. climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfBeast concept.jpg[/attachment:2v2opwwm] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfNew Corrado.jpg[/attachment:2v2opwwm] e0ed94599b94b7f07d7c72aa393b377a_1.jpg[/attachment:2v2opwwm] I like the bottom two.
  20. They should have just given it a new name. The car looks ok,but it has fluck all to do with a rocco. :| Any engine specs out yet ? :) How will this thing be powered?

    ECU swap

I don't think the pin out positions ever changed on a g60,so u should just be able to swap out the whole unit.
  22. Hi I guess we will see you around the forum with pics of your new car. :thumb right:
  23. How so? Thanks for the mk3 information, great stuff! I guess my spare KR will stay a 1.8 for now then. stolen from the internet Very crude explanation and not the full picture but..
