I found a circle thing in my engine bay that should be attatched to the head of the engine at the back but isnt. the pipe looks like its come off, just wondering if anyone know how much a new one was or what it is! it comes out from the back left of the VR (94)engine and is a rubber hose which joins to a cirlce thing the piping on that looks to go into the air intake piping, ive tried searching for a pic of it but i cant find one anywhere. any ideas guys? lol the VW man says i need to get the part No off it but i forgot to get it tonight lol

ok my day off, and the car was booked in for tracking at 11am. i so i needed to get it lowered to a decent height for the tracking to work best soooo i did just that and while i had the wheels off............. i got em on! :D i kno the car needs a clean but it started raining before i had got back with it so that knackered it. they fit but it needs arch work and i think it needs to go a bit lower on the back, not much like, since taking the pictures it has settled in alot more and i can get my foot underneath but can hardly move it. so it might not need to go down much more on the back. but i want em on for good now! :D lol. so need to find someone who can roll arches well and is decent priced got the tracking done by a local garage for £25 that was laser tracking/camber adjustment :) and heres a pic of it on the ramps about 20 mins after i had finished lowering it. it looks lower in the pic but its gone down a bit more than this, i went to brid and it looks like the bumpy roads have helped settle in the suspension. it cant go down anymore on the front, the splitter catches everything already lol. :) ENJOY! and one last one as i was backing her up into the garage for the night :) this one is crap i kno but it was taken on a phone :) Thanks for looking and junkie can enjoy it as much as i do now lol

ace pictures mate, how do you get the moving ones i can never get em right they always come out crappy, do you use a tripod or freehand?
-
have you got a hole right the way through the offending bolt? is so cant you use some sort of cutting device to cut outwards - ie cut the remaining thread piece into quarters and it will fall to pieces maybe - im not engineer just a thought :) lol
