  1. Can I risk saying that Xenon upgrades for a Corrado are one of those mods you'll never regret doing? Absolutely fabulous IMHO, although I'm sure that stuff that my car towers over (including church mice, hedgehogs & small rabbits) will find the glare of my new Xenons quite painful, :) I cannot agree with you more on this modification. :D hmm, what is leaking now? HID on, yes 4300K HID for the low beams HID for both low beams and fog light. closer picture and the going with a higher color temperature like 6000K as pictures in the high beams you start to notice the glare.
  2. there is alot of chit chat on what brighter bulbs to use, but no one posts up pictures of the results for others to see or judge by themselves. well here is my pictures of my 4300K hids installed with 3 relays to power up each pair of beams, high, low, and fogs. post up your philips guys. hmm, what is leaking now? HID on, yes 4300K
  3. yes some wheel manufacturers such as SSR did have wheels with same dual fitament bolt patterns same as what i did 5X100 and 4X100. nowadays you got many casted wheels with dual fitaments as well 4X100 and 4X114.3 or 5X100 and 5X 114.3 what peeps do not understand is cast vs forged, and what is hub centric vs bolt centric
  4. Thanks mate, you must have an engineering background to see beyond just the 9 holes on the wheel.
  5. you all know that vws are hub centric and these are BBS forged centers so i'm not worried about the torque.
  6. these are RS001 which is stock 15" ET25 but I had custom lips and barrels made so these are now 16".
  7. yeah the us headlights are like candlestick when it comes to output. I might even paint the chrome black on these to see how they look, i have a set of euro specs on my rado now and if the output is good I will do those as well.
  8. just need to sand the glass clear from all those flutes, hehe
  9. well i left it there but it vents to the atmosphere
  10. just remove the pads and use a belt sander to remove 1-2mm off each pad and you should be fine.
  11. hid or nothing. you can retrofit these like i'm doing to these MK4 jetta headlights http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd129/scirocco16valve/jetta%20retrofit/IMG_3036.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd129/scirocco16valve/jetta%20retrofit/IMG_3024.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd129/scirocco16valve/jetta%20retrofit/IMG_3025-2.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd129/scirocco16valve/jetta%20retrofit/IMG_3025-1.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd129/scirocco16valve/jetta%20retrofit/IMG_3026.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd129/scirocco16valve/jetta%20retrofit/IMG_3025-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v233/scirocco16v/IMG_3061.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v233/scirocco16v/IMG_3060.jpg
  12. no one knows? maybe i need to cut some of metal from the rear mount bracket.
  13. I have swapped the rear hydro mount on the rear of my G60 to a earlier MK2 solid mount. Now I think the drive shaft is hitting it? How many are running solid rear mounts or if you needed to cut it for clearance.
  14. I got two magnaflow resonators on top of your setup on my G60 so shouldn't it be less? unless the resonators do nothing?
  15. so i guess all i can do is turn up the bass.
  16. i have a cone filter. should i connect a longer hose or pipe to the bottom of the tb to make it vent lower to the floor of the chassis? i think the whoosh would not be much in the engine compartment this way?
  17. would removing the pipe the recirculates the air to the charger make it louder? I noticed a louder whooshing sound when you release the throttle.
  18. do you think swapping out the sebring muffler and putting a VW one would do anything? I do not want raspberries to be popping out the back once i release the throttle.
  19. After getting the "a la moi" custom made exhaust on my corrado and firing her up a number of times now. Eurosport ceramic race headers, two magnaflow stainless steel cannister resonators and sebring muffler connected with stainless mandrel bent piping. I find that it is on the rather loud side while idling. So maybe need a catalytic convertor. here is a short clip taken 2 .5 feet away. 20. Anyone know how to disable daytime running light on a canadian corrado? thanks
  21. yes these are adjustable dampers but I do not think setting them harder will raise the car height.
