Me too mate. I really do hate throwing things like this away...
-
Be interested to see if you get any takers on this as I've ended up junking every single one from past breakers...

My friend is now taking very reasonable offers on the Becker...happy to pass on a contact number... -
Cheers for the pics Chris. If BILLCOR doesn't take this that, I'm still interested...however I realise this maybe gone.

Sorry missed that bit of crucial info - Front Wheel Bearings. ---------- Post added at 1:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 1:05 PM ---------- I had already mentioned they are OEM fitment. I'm not trying to fleece anyone here, that is actually what I paid for them. If you have managed to source them cheaper then pat on the back for you. But in the grand scheme of things all your post has done it now made it more difficult for me to sell these - thanks. -
Slipped my mind and the gearbox plate was far more important. ---------- Post added at 11:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:20 PM ---------- That's pretty rare..

Really surprised these haven't been snapped up... -
1H2 strikes me as Golf Mk3... I've got three of these sitting outside now as back up, I'll check if any have this part number. All should do the same job in theory.

Haha...rare I take it then..?
-
£2000...? Somebody shot me..

GruvenParts stuff is nice if not a little on the expensive side. I realise the quality is excellent but I personally can't justify 60-70 pounds on a braket + import fees. Chaos3oe - yes please, i'll take both. PM me a Paypal address or method of payment and I'll get money across. Can you dispatch this week..?

Sorted thanks to Mr Stonejag aka Nick. Turns out Auto Corrado's do have their advantages...the auto box protects this plate entirely so he's sorted me a minter. ---------- Post added at 9:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:18 PM ---------- That's the piece. Got in touch with my local TPS and VW Parts - £32 + VAT and none in stock in the UK apparently. I'm not sure I'd describe that as cheap given what it is and I couldn't take the risk of ordering something that may never appear with roadtrip dealines looming large. Cheers to peeps who got in touch.

Thanks mate. Replied.

Exactly... ...fitting the new stuff is the fun, easy bit. Removal is the sweary, sweaty frustrating bit!

Very interesting...

Word of advise for undoing these bolts and many others on the Corrado's. When you're concerned about rounding/snapping/general agro...ensure you have the appropriate 6-side hex socket and not your average 12 sided jobbies. 13-17-18-19 mm Standard/Impact Sockets are always useful. Makes all the difference when a serious amount of force is required. Breaker Bar / Scaffold Pole also. Keep everything as square as possibly when driving them out and you should be fine. Soaking them prior always assists in my experience. Hope that helps. ---------- Post added at 1:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 1:37 PM ---------- I ordered the following as my ARP Clamp decided it didn't wanna part company with the bolt and snapped it in two...despite soaking ;) rustier than the hull of the titanic...
