Aren't they going to be mandatory soon..?

Yep, well done Wompa! - you must be well chuffed with how well it's coming together. Mark

Chris, given it some thought and although my controls are ok my scuffed fascia piece is getting on my nerves - and as you say in the OP, the controls will be useful for spares. So, I'll take the controls and surround at your £20 price. Can you advise on postage costs and PM payment details? Thanks Mark

Yay, congratulations Zak. I'm getting married as well this summer - bloody expensive ain't it?!?! Lol I had a 120d for a year or so as a company car. Good, solid car with a decent spec - always enjoyed the novelty of the external door handle lights when you hit the central locking remote.... One thing I found was that it never quite felt as stable at speed as my Rado (or indeed the mk4 I had before that). The rwd does seem to make them a bit twitchy, particularly in the wet when lane hopping or coming on and off slip roads. Still, definitey worth seeing how you get on for yourself. Mark

Really liking what you've done with your SWG scuttle panel. The original gloss black finish is a right PITA to keep looking good, I'm seriously thinking of following your example..... M.

I don't mean any disrespect to Stealth, but mine used to pull excessively to the left and I ended up having it looked at by the guys down at the Phirm. Things were much improved but it wasn't until I had it looked at by a specialist alignment company that things seemed to finally get resolved satisfactorily. Try speaking to Lee (I think!) over at Maldon Supertyres - they have all the kit and really know how to use it. They deal with a lot of cars from Strictly Dubs so are used to VWs and, as I said wheel alignment is basically all they do. You'll also get one of those computer print outs showing toe in/out, caster, camber.... they gave me the choice as to how much neg camber I wanted to dial in, so don't just work from a prescribed set up if that's not what you're after. Try to avoid Saturday's though (unless you go early) as they get swamped! M.

I'm struggling too. I tried to follow Andi's advice and logged on via my Pc and went to profile settings. Changing the skin type to default or forum default didn't change anything and I've now managed to accidentally change my pc settings to mobile as well!! Arrggghhhh! Don't do that by the way as if you do you can no longer get to your settings to get it back to default - HELP!!! -
I've tried the chrome spray paint on mine.... It just gives you a bright silver finish to be honest - it definitely improved the appearance of mine, but it didn't look like a chrome finish Mark

Just to let you know we ran a GB on these last year that came in at around £630 with fitting kit incl P&P. It was done through Regal Motorsport and the chap down there was very helpful - sorry I can't remember his name, but it was well run and went smoothly. VR6 Joni on here organised things so it maybe worth PMing him to get some tips on how best to kick things off... HTH Mark

Hey Tom I'm hassling you too.... Any joy with the tank strap pics? Mark -
I'd be interested in getting on the forum stand to the shows I manage to get to. What about running an events list that people can post their names up against as to which they're interested in - this would give an idea of numbers and help negotiations with event organisers regarding the size and location of the forum stand.... Mark

Crikey Neil, that doesn't sound good. Can you take it back to the guys that fitted it and complain...?!

Looking good Neil, you've certainly brought the car on quickly. Where did u get the screen done? Mine's got a chip that will need sorting sooner or later. Something else for the long list... Mark
