hi steve it may sound odd but give ford a try. the galaxy v6 uses the same part, i put one on my VR a long time ago also, ford will sell you, or used to, the individual parts in the chain - rather than when VW stocked it you had to buy half you air feed there may be a part number in my members gallery but i cant recall if i put it on there

Jim - would you like me to send you the document so you can put it up on here for people to download?

there is Jim I have a word document which has all the points listed by chris knott i can send it you if you would like? FYI from my experience most insurers will accept the document to provide you a quote but some insist on also speaking with you

check out VW Heritage m8, or drop anna on here a PM i found an outer sill repair panel on classicparts.de but ordered it through Heritage so as to avoid the pricey shipping charge. in fact, as the order was over the heritage free delivery cost i didnt even pay shipping :) it does take a couple of weeks though as heritage get regular deliveries from germany passenger out sill part number is 535 809 847

After running the new exhaust for several weeks i really couldnt be more happy :D it was spring deep clean for the VR this weekend & during the many hours of washing/t-cutting/more washing/ultra deep shine/resin top coat etc etc i thought i really should clean the exhaust & take the pics to post on here. i have tried to show the install in full but couldnt get a nice pic of the bend work over the rear beam as i forgot to take them whilst it was on the ramps....

the person who built it had a thread & was posted n the advert by 87jetta16 http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=12027

thanks Andy - fortunately it wasnt anything nasty like a fried loom or fuse board (which is what i was dreading), it was a fuel pump deciding to let go completely. it no has a nice shiny new bosch pump :D appreciate your comments on the wheels too, im pleased with how they came out & all those sore fingers from hours of rubbing them down paid off just need to get the tires swapped onto them now
