goran - no offence intended but i think you need to take this offline & work it out between the 2 of you. i doubt it is helping the situation with people adding 'their own thoughts' i fully understand the points you are making & i empathise that you are in this situation but forum users can not help you get it resolved

if it is the belt i think you are referring to there is a screw hole into which you can put a bolt, this then releases the tensioner so as you can remove & refit the belt & then remove the bolt

i thought the village of Meriden was the centre of England "For centuries the parish of Meriden to the west of Coventry has claimed to be the geographical centre of England, and there has been a stone cross there commemorating the claim for at least 500 years. The justification is that the point farthest from the sea is in the parish.[citation needed] Morton, Derbyshire also claims to be the centre of England as it is not only mid-way along England's longest north-south axis,[citation needed] but also mid-way between the east coast and the Welsh border" i know of a cracking traditional ale pub not far from there which has a large field, used for camping at their annual beer festival, & they love VW's ;)

hello all has anyone got a decent alternator available for a 1.8 16v the one on my valver is very noisey indeed i could do with a cheap option if possible as getting the valver back on the road is going to seriously hurt my depleted bank balance thanks all for reading

i agree sanky i think they need to speak to each other directly & work it out between the 2 of them the rest of us should back off & not jump to any conclusions or bad mouthing etc

isnt the double time clicking when indicating a safety feature to let you know you have a bulb which has gone

valver picked up last night & given a quick wash as it was filthy a rather nice journey to work had this morning in it :D masses done whilst with the mechanic but still more on the list as i need to recoup funds the alternator is rather noisey so think that might have to be done sooner rather than later & the tire size is a little out so doesnt feel right i know it used to run 195*50*15's on the original wheels but would i need a 195*45 to run on the BBS 16"'s - is anyone good with tire calculations pls? good points though - it does drive nice still, if a little heavy on the go pedal & clutch, both windows work (drivers side rather slowly), sunroof works, spoiler works & im not quite sure how but the head liner looks bloody lovely (FYI both the gf & myself have pulled the liner material out of our respective VR's due to sagging) hopefully the nice weather will kick in & be with us for a while so i can drive it a bit & then think about ripping the dash out to do the matrix

it is when the suspension uses air & compressors so that you can set the height from a control unit the american's love air setups, im sure you have seen an impala or similar with one wheel in the air or bouncing etc often in the UK people use it so as when they get to a show etc they can slam it completely. ive seen 'bagged' camper vans where you cant get a single rizla between the front bumper & the tarmac lol

you could try just copying the URL from the address bar when you're on the page. i think it would then ask other people to 'log in to view' when they try to go to that link i have tried searching for the VW corrado chat you mention but it doesnt bring any results edit - found it - fb said there were zero results on the search but i then saw a post which mentioned it....linky.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/VwCorradoChat/?fref=nf
