keyo could you ask him where from pls ive spent another 2 hours today trying to find them - the companies ive seen advertising them are not answering enquiries
-
cool, ok m8 🙂
-
sadly there is no answer currently on that company phone number, ive emailed to check they are operating. with all due respect fendervg i am not going to complicate this any further with regard to the sidelights. kurzy has kindly agreed to give his time to make a few looms but this does not include a redesign for a function that was never part of the uprated looms. neither kurzy or myself will be making any profit to cover our time spent, of which mine has already increased due to the OE plugs. i hope you understand

appreciate your help fender ive had a browse on the site ive found the headlight end connector & think ive found the other one we need - i will give them a call tomorrow the site also states, upon reading it again lol, that terminals & seals are included - i will verify when i call them tomorrow fingers crossed guys
-
thanks stuart but that link is for rayne auto who are not currently open so they are not an option - plus they are very pricey
-
nasty price tag indeed but more a huge margin for the people making those looms, wire, relays, connectors & fuses aint nowhere near 230 euro LOL fender you are a diamond!!! that part number worked a treat & ive now got a link for the connectors to the headlight......& they are cheap as chips any chance you can get me a part number for the male end as well pls? we could then avoid a tail to the factory loom & have a nice plug in im sure kurzy will know what size grommets will be needed so i will consult him for that bit & then cost those up
-
Wow 230 euro's!!! that is hefty price tag & a massive difference from the £55 i think kurzy's were last time a few years ago i am trying to find the OE connectors but without a part number or knowing the exact product name it is proving difficult
-
18 months m8 - the chap said that as long as you can meet the council's objections then they cant keep denying it hmmm personally i would be wary of paying that amount for an appeal - you can meet planning yourself, i think its £26 or something if what i was told is correct im thinking of booking a meeting & possibly reapplying
-
i am going to have a look for the connectors fendervg but the link was for rayne automotive & they are currently closed ha ha thanks for vouching for the quality of kurzy's work - FYI ive had 3 of his looms historically, for 3 different corrado's, & it was me who organised the last group buy of his looms on here 😉 ha ha ha also, i agree the OE connectors are not essential - ive ran all 3 of mine with the spade connections & never had a single issue until i was sloppy with the cable retention after getting the VR back from paint & the fans rubbed through part of the cable 😞
-
wounder m8!! basically same response i got 😞 i too expressed that there are other garages of similar nature in my area & also that i had consulted neighbours none of which had any objections a customer in our shop has been fighting for planning for 18 months, he suggested the councils pre-application meetings which you can pay for where you sit down with someone from planning & go through your proposal it is a joke really as if your neighbours are ok with the proposal then the council should back the fuck off but they act like little hitlers!! (apologies for strong wording lol)

hello m8 no drilling etc is required to fit, it is possible to install by only removing the grill thanks for the link on the OE connectors - i will forward it to kurzy who is making them - though obviously at £15 for just the connectors it will inflate the cost BUT would potentially be nice to have proper connectors
-
great auction price achieved!! good for us long term owners & bodes well for agreed value insurance
-
cool cressa will do 🙂
-
i understand your point, personally ive never had an issue with either of the spade connector versions ive been running for many years ive not looked for OE connectors but may have a quick search
-
Hi All. Long story short i had a cable routing issue & have inadvertently rubbed through my uprated headlight loom 😞 On a whim i sent KUR2Y an email, as he used to be a member on here & made the looms i run in both my corrado's - he has done several groups buys on here He has kindly agreed to make me a new one & is considering making a batch, so.... Would anyone on here like a 3 relay uprated loom? Main benefit of a 3 relay over the usual 2 relay ones knocking about is that if 1 relay fails you only loose one side dipped beam rather than both sides going & leaving you in the dark or on high beam they are not normally made with OE connectors to the headlights themselves but ive never had any issues with my 2 not sure on price yet but im sure they will be very reasonable Pls see last post on the thread for info on the pricing - Edit it is gone already lol
-
thanks, i thought that might be the case - i already run 10mm spacers on the front so as the speedlines clear my 4 pot brakes the center bore is listed as 56mm but i think ours are 57.1 - im guessing a hub-centric spacer could give me the clearance whilst addressing the center bore difference too out of interest how do you find running 17's? i was under the impression 16's are better for ride quality
-
thanks shaun, 1st time someone has explained that so it makes sense lol hmmm, now should i load the credit card up or not
-
i was of those very thoughts to keyo - its great for us if it does as it bodes well for agreed value insurance
-
will they fit seems to imply they will be ok, just sit inwards a touch - 6mm i think
-
hi all can anyone help with figuring out if a wheel would fit & if spacers would be needed pls wheel spec is 16" , 6.5J, ET49 im on coilovers so can adjust height as needed, its just the offset im unsure of
-
welcome - this is the best place ive found for Corrado's ive been a member of the community for years & we have lots of helpful members with loads of info
-
tits - didnt read the 1st post sorry LOL
-
blue magnecor's on my VR6 - a little gentle fettling & they will fit into the channels
-
nice tan FYI i would recommend retaining the constant tension clips on the hoses rather than use jubilee clips
