ha ha ha camber for VW's in my eyes is for rear wheels only & on vans or bugs my bridgestone RE002's run lovley on the VR & i wouldnt want to get some nasty uneven wear
-
yes that is an option but not really one i want to take TBH it is me being a bit lazy - the VR has KW coilovers so raising it up is no issue other than the hassle of cleaning the upper threads so the screw thing will wind ok the front height just looks so nice with the wheels pushed out a tad
-
thanks Dox it is a tough one to get a pic in which you can make the perspective out but this one may give an idea as for leveraging the arches.....errr i dont think the lips would take it as they are a tad flakey lol
-
no they rub about 1&1/2 inches from the inner edge of the wing but the tire is not catching any of the metal edge of the wing

mmmmm BMC they sound soooo good as the rev's build :D very right foot addicatable though lol -
howdy Mic worn through!! blimey, do your rub badly? no ive not raised it yet - keep putting it off as i bet my KW's are caked in crap despite the clean a while ago &, probably as per yourself, i really like the way it looks now lol the scuffing on the tires doesnt look too bad but it is making me use the new 4 pots with some heavy braking to avoid going over bigger bumps too quickly - which isnt a bad thing apart from for fuel as i get to hear the BMC & exhaust sing as i get her back up to speed :D the HiSpec's keep growing on me too, i figured this morning that i need to hold on much more tightly when hitting the brake hard now lol
-
matrix guides are flying out on fb today - much like the dash's will be lol
-
looks like the 10mm spacers needed for the 4 pots has produced a slight rub on the outer tire wall & i can see a little rub on the arch liner doesnt look too bad & cant be hitting the crusty wing edges as they are still there lol think i will raise the KW's up 10mm at the front, not that i want to as it looks lovely at the current height but the new stopping power is well worth it if i do the valver sailed through her MOT with no advisories last friday too - just needed the new part worn's i put on the front & then a track rod end rubber on the passenger side - good girl!! :D
-
that is correct, LWS are no longer only option for CF wings i could find was Spoonfed but though their price is good, $600 for a pair, with freight forwarding & import duty they sky rocket
-
good on you anna we really do appreciate the work you do to help bring us part we all need!!
-
ha ha ha if that is 500 of each side then i reckon you would be out of stock rapidly if they were a very good price used ones are in as bad a state as those on the vehicle of people looking for them replacement ones are a joke of a price from germany & there is no other option i have even spoken direct with spoonfed tuning about their CF ones but they need to be shipped to a freight forwarding company & then with the import duty they too sky rocket in price tell your boss that in the UK there is currently pretty much no option at all other than a cut & weld
-
if only Oz!! the current 400 euro a side is eye watering & with the only place i knew doing CF ones no longer trading it is a pickle
-
i brought my valver for the 1st time when i was 23 in 2000 & had it for 7 years, then sold it but brought back 7 years later - so 10 years so far with that then brought my VR6 in 2009 so up to 8 years with that am 42 now so have been in a corrado for about 17 years - is it any wonder i dont really like driving most other vehicles LOL
-
nice, that is better than imagined :)
-

-

there are a few of us in the vicinity & who would like a meet - the issue has always been that there is quite a distance between west mids people & deciding on a location maybe we could start a list of members, then pin point their location & try to pick somewhere that is as equidistant as possible unfortunately the good classic car meets in the west mids that used to happen, such as Becketts Farm or the Black boy in knowle or the rugby club in alcester, no longer operate AFIK
-
good feedback thanks
-
how were they Jim?
-
ahh i see i did wonder as i could remember seeing that your gauge holder was different to the normal ones
-
i think the open ones were designed for vehicles destined for warmer climates though i cant see it giving that much extra air flow surely
-
you can see the VDO's in the recarro thread pic..... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?98429-recaro-interior maybe PM the OP & ask if he can confirm the gauges
-
i to have heard & wondered about this my VR is also 3 slat with one vent i had thought about mod'ing it to open more vents but not sure it is worth the effort
