  1. i have been thinking about one of these for a while now https://www.dancovershop.com/uk/product/folding-garage-car-small-2-6x5-8x2-1-m-grey.aspx
  2. i agree sean & we should all be happy with a general rise in values there is a case of some traders trying to make a rather inflated margin on them though - the lying scum who drove away with my gf's old storm has more than doubled the money on his asking price & i doubt (well, pretty much know) he has not 'fixed' many of the things he was moaning about - including the chains
  3. here you go jamin.... spacers & then rubbing on arch liner, then shadow on tire from said rubbing
  4. from what i recall the spacer sits on the outside of the disc not the inside as such the it means the spacer is what the wheel itself locates on to, rather than the shoulder on the disc, which is why hub centric spacers are recommended as they have the spigot shoulder on them for the wheel to locate i found ths out the hard way as i agreed to the cheap spacers HiSpec offered only to find they were not hub centric. which resulted in a call from my mechanic saying 'these spacers are tosh as they dont have a spigot to locate the wheel on' AFIK you can use non hub centric spacers but the wheel then only locates via the bolts does that makes sense to you m8? lol
  5. yup, the dealers especially my gf's old storm is still on the traders site for £9k many months later (which is way more than he haggled it for!!)
  6. he does sean, or did anyway Vince had a black VR which he developed the turbo kit on but it wasnt running when my VR was in there quite a while ago - not sure if he got it back up & going
  7. i will go & take some of it how it is in a bit if i can & of the rubbing too if i can capture it what do you mean when you say you are not convinced? do you mean that you are unsure if the 11.5mm ones will be ok?
  8. fingers crossed on the brakes then - N3P had lovely tarox 6 pots i think & VAG-hag has big Aston Martin calipers on his but not sure what size i think they both produced around the 380-400 horses mark but have a look in the members section for their build threads TBH i wouldnt expect Vince to mention gb strength as from a customer point of view it could be off putting to be asking about a £4-5k turbo upgrade & then be told you need another couple grand on the gb to be able to cope with the new output plus, again AFIK, i think the OE gb can cope pretty ok with up to around 300 horses with just an LSD
  9. ha ha ha - joker sellers as well as joker traders lately lol
  10. i thought similar the gf parted with her storm for less than that a while ago & it was in very good condition though it makes me happy as bodes well for both mine lol
  11. unfortunately the latter m8 AFIK it stripped 3rd gear when he took it to the last stealth RR day - note i dont believe this was whilst it was on the rollers - & he had a very slow drive home VAG-hag he posted this week that it is back on the road & with the new gb internals similar with N3P's stealth storm too but he sold the car before he had the strengthened gb internals fitted i believe both of them also had LSD's or tractional control of some form in there at the time i have seen the stealth turbo upgrade being fitted & the work vince & jon do is awesome BUT you really do need very big brakes, an LSD of some form & a strengthened gb as well - oh & likely bloody good suspension to keep it all on the ground EDIT - just seen your signature - you are going to need much bigger brakes than those 288's m8!!! (if you havent catered for those already)
  12. crazy current bid price considering it is a non runner with advised knackered engine
  13. indeed lol FYI i had a better look at the VR front under arches last night - quite a scuff on the arch liner & a few noticeable scuffs on the tires too. think i need to raise it up a tad because of the 10mm spacers
  14. nice! speak to VAG-hag about gears on his stealth turbo'd VR as he has just had the internals strengthened ;)
  15. you could tell him that Mr J Clarkson called it a 20 grand ferrari back in the day ;)
  16. no danger thought it might be worth mentioning. i have been slowing for the hump back lately but may raise the front a little to accommodate a bit more suspension travel
  17. hi m8 - struggling for the numbers could i pls have the corrado vehicle outline one, pm me your paypal & i will send it over :)
  18. oh ok easy, no danger - struggling for the 10, think i will order anyway
  19. ive just put 10mm hubcentric's on my VR,which is lowered on KWV1's to a 2 finger gap between top of tire & bottom of arch, so as to fit the hispec 4 pots.....ive noticed if i go over a small hump backed bridge a little too quickly the weight on the downward travel is enough to cause a tiny rub on the outer tire edge that is with OE speedlines
  20. 4 people requesting them so far: corrado script = sharpy-vr6, odub storm script = easypops corrado outline = g0ldf1ng3r i may have a corrado script one as well if we are short of the 10 required by OP - any other interest people? xnology, if we cant get to the 10 figure can those of us who would like one order separately?
  21. wow! there is a figure ive never seen before
  22. yes, they are sublime! love the one in my VR & plan to get another for the valver hopefully ive not crunched a 2nd to 3rd gear change in the VR since fitting one of daves :D
