  1. have you tired contacting those in the breaking section? IIRC VW obseleted them about 2 years ago :(
  2. i use that in my VR too m8 :D i will be trying their slightly cheaper version for the valver too
  3. ha ha that is almost as bad as me having to work with some NT servers PMSL ive got more GB of memory in my home PC than some of the servers i support have GB in primary hard drive! switching back to chrome to test forum again & due to you lot making me feel diirty for using IE lol
  4. have you received the new batch yet m8? scratch the above fella, got your PM & replied :) thanks muchly
  5. lol I used to use chrome for this forum a while ago but it played up on there so I switched to IE, but only for the forum it is bugging me as I am an IT admin & cant figure why it does it PC is all update, browsers too, cache cleared blah de blah
  6. potentially yes unless maybe they had swapped their gauges over due to a fault with the originals & the replacement had a different mileage much caution required though I would say
  7. Hi can anyone pls tell me if they are also experiencing an issue with the site logging them out for no apparent reason? for the past few days I keep getting logged out of the site when I refresh the page. I run IE11 & it did not used to do it last week. if for example I have an IE page open with me logged in, I minimise it for lets say 5 - 10 mins, go back to the page, click refresh & it logs me out very annoying as I have to keep logging back in :( I don't cache any user name or pwds any thoughts anyone? thanks
  8. we like new members look forward to seeing your rado :)
  9. £25 at screwfix for one could save your life I have had a wheel bolt come loose before & it is not a nice experience, I would hate to think what it would have turned out like if the wheel had come off due to more than 1 loosening
  10. hi m8, sorry I have only just seen your post I had it fitted by Longlife in Birmingham city centre. I had full system from downpipe back but I have not had it remapped after having the exhaust fitted. I couldn't justify the gains/ £'s ratio & am unsure if it would show an increase in power without a remap
  11. probably not related to your issue but did you also torque your wheel bolts up properly? 110nm I believe
  12. can of worms here Pete the adjusters are notoriously brittle & from what I have read can be a real pain to remove & refit I have a pair of early headlights from which I need to make a working set with the ones currently in the valver - for the same reason of broken adjusters I thought I would try the donor light route first but am also aware that you can buy a metal adjuster from here, but they are expensive, http://www.tdnparts.com/corrado-euro-light-adjuster-kit/
  13. hi chris could I have 2 when you get some more pls :) both mine are no longer jammin' ;)
  14. I belive VAG-hag has just taken delivery of one of those
  15. that is what I thought a quick google though & lots of post about poor customer service for after care - however, most of those were over 10 year old threads I know they are ultra expensive but AP racing have always been a desire for myself
  16. I was going to suggest the same the disc's they supply have to be bolted onto separate rotors. if K sport cant supply a 5*100 rotor could you not just use one from someone else which is designed to fit the same size disc as K sport supply
  17. ahhh poop news m8 :( Hi Spec do allow different colours ;)
  18. lol sexual brakes! n3p had some very nice Tar-Ox ones on his old VRT I seem to recall HiSpec will also custom fabricate a set if required so as to get big brakes under smaller specific wheels
  19. I know they are not Brembo but have you looked at these EJ http://www.hispecmotorsport.co.uk/vw.html ? they are manufactured to fit and offer 4 pot or 6 pot I know wheeler dealers have used them on a sports car previously but cant recall what it was
  20. from the experience of the gf selling her storm last year - you haven't a chance at that price with those faults I am afraid restore now or store away if you want a good price, else I would expect a big drop from your figure
  21. nice! those brakes peeking out catch the eye I bet ;) lol
  22. couple of places & potentials most likely is the foliage filter housing & the plastic cover which goes over the top of it I had a badly fitted plastic cover on my VR such that one corner was tucked under itself & was letting water go straight into the top of the foliage filter if the plastic cover is ok it could be the seal on the base of the foliage filter, they are known to perish & then leak if neither of those then check the sunroof drain holes - open sunroof onto full slide & there is a drain hole channel in each corner. pour a little water down each & check it comes out under each respective wing
