  1. I finally have good news  ! its been so long coming I almost forgot I had gallery thread! I purchased a cover for the car and ive been offered a garage from the council (finally). It has electricity and lighting and all for £8 a week! rocking  so i can FINALLY get on and fix my beast! go Rado go!
  2. i do have a height issue, im 6"2. I may have to steal some ones car with recaro's in and start fiddling with the seats :)
  3. I dunno, You tried firing up a 80yr old lady with a gammy hip...[/quote:29wa3moq]Give me your gran's number and I'll give it a go![/quote:29wa3moq] shes in the classified listings of your local paper... on the opposite page from your dad
  4. I dunno, You tried firing up a 80yr old lady with a gammy hip...
  5. you may need to rethink the number of laps mate... still not sure they will be enough to force a pit stop if that's what your wanting, however 30 laps will take one hour so id think twice before adding more. I'll leave it in your capable hands :salute: Edit: Don't forget to write down the times and positions btw!
  6. these were my thoughts exactly... but never having sat in the Recaro's i thought id best check well... there is no leather ATM. I'm planning on splurging out on a bespoke leather interior fitted by a company up here in Snotland. they'll take the interior that i have and re-upholster it. sooo, ill have to paint the plastics and trim to match anyway. I should avoid the problems you had with colour matching!!
  7. but they may not look so good with a light cream leather interior  If i was to defiantly get the leather, would i still go for the recaro? Im not interested in the fancy electronics after all as my car doesnt have it at the mo... would just leave me with more work to do. But if there is improved comfort... but by your description Kev if be better off staying with the standard seats...
  8. Im interested in knowing the difference not just in Type but in substance as well between the two (having only ever used or seen standard seats). Apart from the tilt levers on both sides of each seat, electric recline and height adjustment and possibly heating elements are the recaro's "more comfortable" or is this something that only ones bum could distinguish for certain? If it helps i would prefer to discuss the standard leather trim (i know you can get cloth recaro's but I eventually wont a leather interior) so... is there any great benefits to be had from the Recaro's in comparison to the factory fitted standard seats? at a glance they seem to be similar in shape
  9. Right chaps, because of prior arrangements i'll be unable to race this evening. I was contemplating changing the time to 9pm but even then i'm not sure and anyway, thats not fair on you lot. Especially with all the confusion over getting to the start line on time!!! so anywho... sorry in advance and ill catch you all later on next week! happy racing! :thumb right:
  10. keep it... declare it off road and reap the benefits of moving house and place her in storage. By the summer you wont car she has no heaters. Spend the small hours wittling away at minor things like internal trim and faulty switches. Then one day when you got the money, spend it on fixing her up. Just stopping dawdling and DONT brake her. There are too few Rado's in the world as it is
  11. is there still interest in this as i REALY need mine done, like Tekara the rubber compound on mine is starting to go sticky and :gag:
  12. god speed :salute: (thats 70mph... dont wont to be thought of as encouraging speeding!)
  13. no it wont... cus you'll spend most of the time in the pit after im done with you! [/quote:22jyp4sm] Thats if you can keep up :shades:[/quote:22jyp4sm] i need only the first corner
  14. no it wont... cus you'll spend most of the time in the pit after im done with you!
  15. this is news to me... have you tried using the search? when i bleed the system i did just as you have described and i didn't experience any problems :confused4:
  16. dont mind MonkeyVR6, hes a copper... And a German military one at that. always the letter of the law. Mind you, if his driving on Forza is anything to go by id revoke his license! as for the accident i feel your pain. Its happend to me a before. Old lady started to pull off so i move forward and look right.. then :splat: she only pulled forward 2 feet! silly woman. But theres nothing you can do in those situations. Did the person you hit have much damage?
