  1. Has anyone seen this magazine yet? I had a butchers in the newsagents today but couldn't find it.
  2. Heres another link  http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... c&start=15
  3. It was on Sky Men and Motors Top 100 cars list a while back, it was only a short feature but the good old C made it to the mid 70's IIRC
  4. You back on the road yet mave? I've just been down to Ross and back for an after-work thrash in the rado :-P Be good to see yours sometime 8)
  5. Doesn't sound like you're having much luck with this Corrado, my patience would be wearing thin by now if I were you. Hope it's just coincidental that you've had all these probs and that they haven't sold you a dud, as I'm sure you'll have paid top whack for it! Let's hope that the guys don't diagnose head gasket failure as well and that they can finally get it running properly for you, all the best.
  6. Nice one Dave good to have you back, looks like a steal :)
  7. Big thanks to B5VWC for the bootlid, good to meet up with you yesterday cheers mate 8)
  8. You mean these guys? http://stone.he.net/~csis01/volkscars/catalogue.php They have been discussed before, the general consensus was the cars are too expensive. Don't know about their servicing costs though, just ring 'em up and discuss what you need doing, then tell us before you get anything done..
  9. Hmmm bad luck Jim, looks like the dreaded VW red paint fade syndrome which affected the old Tornado red too. As already said not much you can do apart from the occasional T cut or failing that, a respray :(
  10. Yep you should piss that, I go to Scotland at least once a year and can get around 380 miles to a tank, averaging erm 80ish, and that's all motorway bar the odd 30 miles :)
  11. Not sure if that guide is telling porkies, mine is painted and all 3 slats are open (it's much better for cooling purposes anyway)
  12. Yes they do. But US VR6s 'only' got the 174bhp 2.8 (see page 1)
  13. I think I remember Tempest telling me it's been scrapped.
  14. I think it's markings to show where to install the VW roof rack
  15. Taking mine there tomorrow, and there it'll stay til next saturday. :)
  16. Thread should read.. 'How to ruin a perfect arse'.
  17. Blimey £1750 for a fully loaded '96 VR6, that is good going, almost half the original asking price lol! If I'd known it was gonna go that cheap I'd have jumped in, hope you enjoy it! :)
  18. Quite liking the shrunken lights in the front bumper too, be nice to see what its like face on.
  19. I had a sneaky feeling you were buying that one, I've seen it around Hereford and it was also discussed on the forum a while ago, the general consensus was it *looked* a bit rough! It was advertised in the local rag for around £3.5k IIRC so it looks like he really dropped the price on the buy it now option, how much did you get it for in the end?
  20. Sounds mint, go in low at £4k and be happy if you get it for £4.5k 8)
  21. Look out, here comes VR6... :)
