  1. I'm currently trying my best to secure every possible fixing part on the interior of my Corrado and re-newing any missing or broken clips. I'm stuck on the passenger side lower dash compartment (below the glove box) I believe there are x3 screws on the very front underside, bang below the glove box. X2 on the side which screw into the centre console. Now at the rear there appears to be two large-ish holes which I believe fastens it to the footwell area using the big plastic screw/push studs? When the dash compartment is fastened using the above screws these holes in the rear of the compartment line up with threads sticking out the carpet - but for the life of me I can't get any of these fixings to take, they just pop out. Can any one confirm how the dash compartment should fasten and if I'm doing anything wrong?
  2. Yeah, I ran 7j ET35 previously and they were fine with standard arches and liners, it was lowered so the arch sat just above the tyre with no issues. Now I've gone wider and lower I needed the work. OP should be fine with ET35 on a 7J, with sensible lowering. All depends how low he wants to go really.
  3. Yeah, rolled and no liners
  4. I have 17x7.5 ET21 on my fronts. You'll have no issues.

What a terrible advert, It tells you nothing about the car. Personally if someone can't be arsed to write out something as easy and simple as an advert I highly doubt they can be arsed to look after a car. So why run it as an auction, without a reserve then if you have a minimum price in mind? Moron comes to mind.
  6. Freshly powder coated G60 Subframe - This subframe originally came off a G60. I have personally stripped the subframe and sent it off for powder coating; the subframe, ARB, ARB mounts, droplinks and any little washers were sent off, shot-blasted and powder coated gloss black. The wishbones were as new Febi-Bilstien items so were not sent off for powder coating. The subframe/wishbones have new Powerflex bushes throughout which were previously fitted to the subframe/wishbones but haven't seen a mile on the road - Every available subframe related bush is Powerflex, they have all been greased correctly to avoid any squeaking, every bolt has been cleaned using a bench grinder wire wheel and have had a die sent down the threads. I have fitted my old G60's engine mounts, a G60 rear engine mount and a MK2 Diesel gearbox mount both G-Werks Supplied - both have covered less than 6,000 miles and are as new really. Since the powder coat and rebuild, it's covered 0 miles and hasn't been fastened to a car. Overall its really clean and the powder coating is really nice and a quality job, if I had to gripe the ARB could have been blasted better. The wishbones although new and unused have picked up some storage marks from when the powder coating was happening. Other than that is gorgeous and I wish it would work on my VR. :( I'll let the pictures do the talking: SOLD over on E38. G60 front cross member - Freshly powder coated with brand new in the box Powerflex bushes. Seen 0 miles use and has never been fitted to a car. I will happily fit the bushes for you if you require - I have access to a press. SOLD to Erny G60 front cross member - Freshly powder coated and fitted with standard VW bushes which are approximately 6,000 miles old. Seen 0 miles use and has never been fitted to a car. £40 and as the others: Located in Sheffield. Collection is preferred but I will post at £10 with a 24 hour courier. Finally... Corrado OMP rear strut brace - Was originally red but had it powder coated in a textured black, it's seen 0 miles and has never been fitted to a car since the powder coating - SOLD
  7. I'll take it. PM me your details

  9. Sold ages ago. Apologies, thought I had removed the Ad. Rich
  10. I have a used G60 subframe with wishbones, ARB's etc, taken off the car as is and is ready to go. Also I have a freshly Powerflex polybushed & black powdercoted G60 subframe, wishbones, ARB's, polybushed throughout, not seen the road since the powdercoating. Take your pick.
  11. I echo what's been said. Probably the best experience with any online company I have ever had. EVER, and I shop a hell of a lot online and have done so for over a decade. I've ordered loads from them, I remember my first order; within 5 minutes of placing the online order I received a phone call saying the shampoo I had ordered was out of stock, they then recommended me a different shampoo so I didn't have to wait, they said it was equivalent but apparently had better user reviews, it was a few quid more expensive but the cost was covered by them. The order was delivered the next day after it was placed. Can't get any fairer than that, most online companies wouldn't even let you know about the lack of stock, never mind offer you a replacement which is better and more expensive for the same price! I also had an issue where I ordered some Bilberry wheel cleaner which stated on the site to be 'safe for all wheels' when it arrived the bottle clearly stated 'NOT SAFE FOR POLISHED WHEELS' - So clearly not safe for all wheels as the site says. When I told CLC.com about this and the fact I had polished wheels so the product was useless for my personal needs, they told me to keep the Bilberry and they sent me some Dodo Juice mild wheel cleaner FOC. The shop reminds me of the good old days with the customer is always right attitude, in this modern day and age of hiding behind computer screens and large volume orders, simple things like making sure the customer is happy whilst providing personal interaction with tailored results to their issues is such a rarity nowadays. Big thumbs up. :thumbleft:
  12. Word up homeslice, put me down for a black one. Peace x
  13. Seems fair. What would it come with? All ancillaries, loom ecu etc? A full conversion with ECU, loom, ancilaires, hoses etc etc, basically everything engine related should see around £400-£500 as they are good for conversion into MK2's etc.
  14. I do, £15 posted with royal mail 1st class recorded. PM'd I may do, I'll have to have a look through my many boxes of tricks so i'll have a dig through and let you know. PM'd
  15. Boom: Cheapest I've found and correct. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310357807988?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  16. Only 4k!? Selling yourself short there in my opinion. I got a local independent garage to do mine, insured for £5,000!
  17. Just to add to this, I did notice that the rubber fuel lines which go from the plastic lines to the fuel rail differ on the late OBD2 VR6's.. Possibly an uprated material to avoid this?
  18. Posted on the 8th 1st class. Should have received my PM when It was posted. PM'd.
  19. As stated, the law on this is a grey area, there is no specific definition regarding 'poke' and instead go down to extrusions from the body work. It's such a vague description that it's more on how it's interpreted by the reader more than anything. So it will differ from policeman to policeman and court to court. The tyre tread however has to be under the arch when looking from above, as stated by law. Stretching tyres are fine if they are not too extreme. 215/40/16 On a 9j is within most tyre manufactures guidelines & recommendations (once again there Is no law on tyre stretching, just a law on tyre safety so stretching if excessive can be interpreted as unsafe by certain policemen if they deem so). Drift cars stretch tyres, with obscene camber and wheel spin around corners going sideways FFS, I think stretching will be ok on a road car. The horror stories you hear are from excessive stretching, crap tyres and under-inflation. Buy a good tyre, don't over do it and keep the pressures up and you'll be fine. Tyre stretching will however make handling less precise and vague whilst the thin tyres make the ride harsh. Form over function really but whatever floats your boat. From the pictures you've posted I'd say those wheels are borderline. You should get away with it with a good -1 degree of camber and the correct tyre size. You may attract unwanted attention from the boys in blue so drive sensibly. Personally in my opinion for it to work you'll need a good drop and arch work otherwise it'll look poop and kind if defeats the object really. Just remember if it looks illegal or iffy to you it will 100% look the same to the police, whether it's illegal or not is another matter but is it worth the unnecessary hassle? By the way on my last Golf I ran 195/45/13's on a 8.5J for over a year. The only issue I had was looking far too cool so it was nicked. Hey ho.
  20. Depends on the ET of the D90's
