Dead easy. If you get these they really are plug and play. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=81540 Don't get the cheap kits from ebay. You have to cut into your wiring, and they're not very good quality at all. I can vouch for the quality of this kit. As an engineer by trade, they really are well made.
  3. I need to get the Aqua Blue VR finished so I can get on and fit mine! I can't start on mine for at least 2 weeks though. Damn I want them fitted!!!!!!!
  4. Welcome Ross! Congrats on the purchase of a great car, I had wondered where it'd gotten too! Look forward to seeing it now, and how you progress with it in future. As you can see, Daren didn't last long before pining after and getting another!
  5. Yeah if you put it back in with the tilt pin in the bracket on the right hand side, just tilt it forward from the top, undo the cable and vacuum line (if its early), then lift it up so both tilt pins are free of the brackets. Lower the column to the lowest setting if its an adjustable one, bring one side out whilst the face of the cluster is facing downward. Shouldn't have a problem from that.
  6. I don't understand it. He obviously spent a lot of time and money on the exterior, yet the engine bay lot seemed very lazy imo. Why wouldn't you remove the gearbox end plate and sump. Just painting over everything including nuts, bolts, gaskets, drive shaft cups, and even alternator windings isn't the way to do it if you ask me. Not a fan of the red all over the bay either if I'm honest. Don't get me wrong, that is a build of epic proportions, but for a couple of hours and a just a few quid more, that could have been perfect.
  7. Maybe give it a wash and scrub over with apc then rinse with fresh water. I did my block with vht enamel and it went on fine.
  8. I did the same once, but called a pro as I didn't want to scratch my paintwork getting the wire down to the pin. Guess what, he scratched the shiz out of the paint at the edge of the roof/top of the door shut. Grrrrr!

  10. It would have to be a real stinker for £200 to be fair. £400 is a good price for a G60, even with a duff charger. Thats the main expense on the car anyway, so if its ok then thats a bargain! A lot of the exterior trim is obsolete or quite expensive, although most things you should be able to get for a reasonable price second hand. Plenty being broken on here and on ebay. Its an excellent car if you do decide to go for it. I'm sure your son will love the active rear spoiler, and that alone is worth the extra £200!!!
  11. Just clicked through your members gallery Ian. Some larger pics here when you first fitted the B12s. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=50830&p=1012791&viewfull=1#post1012791
  12. Not good enough, no mention of bacon sarnies!
  13. If the filter has been over oiled its possible. The newer types are oil-less so much safer.
  14. Thanks Mic, should be a good day on the dyno.
  15. If you can get to the element by removing the casing, then you should be able to clean it. I successfully cured one that was seriously bogging down at 3k rpm by cleaning it with electrical contact cleaner and cotton buds. Just be very gentle, and make sure there are no bits left on the element afterward.
  16. What are the details of the car. You've obviously had a good innings with it, and although inevitably people come to a point when they think its time to sell, a surprisingly large number of people return and get another later down the line. Its nice sometimes to have a break, then reignite the love at a better point in your life. If you need the money at this point in your life, you've got to remember its only a car. If your financial situation improves in a few years, I'm sure you'll find another with a bit of searching and with a bit of time. Good luck whatever you decide.
  17. Great vid and great gains there! That road is immense too!
  18. You've got 4 weeks to get it ready and on the road for the RR day at Stealth Matt! I want it done!!!!!! Oh yeah, good work so far. :thumbleft:
  19. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=89863 Already in the wanted section, any need for it here too?
