  1. My late car came with early leather cards, as mentioned, switches were different. Whoever did mine put late pods on to keep the original switches (and left the early switches in situ to fill the holes). The only other difference was the early cards didn't have holes for the lock pin in the top edge, so they made holes. Oh, and it also meant the mirror switch wasn't connected. I ditched the front leather cards and just put late cloth cards in (until I manage to find some late grey leather cards)
  2. Glad these haven't died out completely :) I'll wait for the smoked ones, any ideas how long they are likely to be?
  3. Crikey, didn't realise they were so thin on the ground. No idea myself what the original caps were like either, but the 15" caps seem to be doing the job well enough for me at the moment (not perfect, but more than presentable)
  4. Do you mean 4 sets of 16" speedlines? Or the 16" centre caps?
  5. Isn't camber fixed on the rear? Can the rear subframe/axle be off centre?
  6. Arrived safe and sound today. Cheers :)
  7. Thanks for the tips guys. Will take another look and see what's what.
  8. The forum puts up.... "Sorry! The administrator has disabled the list of members." .... if you try and display it.
  9. bumpety bump. Still looking for that illusive final cap :(
  10. Yeah, you are right Sean but the 58mm ones do fit and stay in (having even less joy finding 60mm caps). So a single cap from a 15 would at least complete the set.
  11. Decided to tackle the lumpy tickover and flatspots/misfire issue. Took off the inlet elbow and MAF. Cleaned the MAF with IPA, greased the seals and re-installed. New jubilee clips on the intake elbow for the rocker breather (was getting the odd drip of oil every few days dripping onto exhaust manifold) and ISV connection. Once started up, I could hear an intermitent ticking. As it was starting get dark, once I was eyeballing around trying to find the ticking, I could see that the short ht lead on the top bank (cylinder 5?) was arcing across to the metal gasket on the exhaust manifold (couple of sparks every second or two). Not sure why it would arc to there rather than through the spark plug though. Tried a spare lead and that was doing the same. Bent the lip of the gasket away from the lead and the arcing stopped. Anyway, everything is super smooth now. Idles lovely, and no flat spots and misfires anymore :)
  12. Two recently. I was at the inlaws when the nurse arrived to do his antibiotics drip. She walked in and said what a beautiful car the corrado was that was parked outside. This evening, whilst working on drive, a chap and his son were walking their dog on the other side of the road. He said to his son, "that guy has my all time favourite car", and then crossed the road and chatted about his old valver.
  13. How much play should there be in the gearbox end with the balance weight? The gear changes are OK, i.e. I can get all gears ok, but there is a fair bit of sloppiness in the gear stick end. The linkage at the gearbox end, the one with the balance weight, wobbles all over the shop, should it do that?
  14. No probs mate. They are for the 16's, but I think the three I have are from 15's and they fit ok (keep the spring nice and wide and they clip in).
  15. Still after one more of these bad boys if anyone has one? Cheers
  16. What you described Jim is how mine seems to be at the moment :(
