1. Yeah, was the reason I wasn't sure, depends which route you are going. I'm only about 15 miles from M4. Never mind, another time maybe.
2. Not sure if Basingstoke is enroute, but I'm always up for a brew and a chat if it is.
3. Just make sure they do the coil over height before messing with setting up geometry, other wise you'll have to do the fronts again. I don't believe there is anything to adjust on the back unless they think the subframe has moved??
4. The screw/plug is where the plastic cover from behind the headlight screws into (it fills the gap above the panel that helps guide colder air from the headlight into the air intake) http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=321175584234
5. The metal hook that goes through the lever broke off yesterday so looking for a cable if anyone has one. I'll deal With getting the bonnet open once I've got one :( Cheers Rick
6. I'm sure it was something to do with folk getting paranoid about the cops knowing you are speeding if it goes up at 60 or something, despite the fact you could put it up a whatever speed you wanted with the switch.
7. Might be quicker to start listing what does work
8. The buttons under the sloping panel under the dash, to the right hand side of the steering wheel. Speed depends on year of car by default I think, but you can end up with different speeds if the control unit has been changed. Mine goes up about 46, and drops down again about 5mph.
9. Yeah
10. I used some golf straps for my parcel shelf (until I changed the rear shelf for arranging different speakers). The a rest gets in the way if you fold the rear seats down, so it flips forward out of the way (and obviously allows access to the first aid kit tucked inside)
11. Re: the heater control. Mine doesn't work properly (seems to skip teeth and spin round, but nowt happens) unless I switch the blower off. If I switch the blower off, it works perfectly. Not a fix as such, but might help as a temporary measure.
12. Couldn't find the pic earlier. This was the pipe that caused my problems
13. When I was loosing coolant very slowly, it turned out to be the little water pipe on the oil cooler (pipe is a few inches long and pre-bent - only a few quid). It eventually gave out all together as I couldn't find it when stopped up, only leaked on the move)
14. No problems on iPhone 5 with "atomic web" browser. It's own ad blocker is not enabled.
15. I got the awareness course for 52 in a 40. I seem to recall that being offered instead of fine/court straight away. I can only assume if they haven't offered it, it would be a fine and points.
16. Haha, yeah, I think I was trying to get to Shinfield before "World of Water" closed
17. Sounds like a good idea, nothing to lose trying it [emoji4]
18. The switched 12v for the radio shouldn't be far away from the cigarette lighter.
19. Saw a nugget on the A33 heading into Basingstoke about 3'ish yesterday afternoon. I was heading the opposite way but didn't spot in time to wave but we both glanced across at each other.
20. they look really good, even with them being a little deeper.
21. I've got grooved and drilled front and rear and had no problems
22. Ended up snapping up a set of 2nd hand smoked ones now, but still interested in some smoked fog covers if you do get round to making them.
