  1. Hopefully my original post in the thread is still valid for keeping me in for a set?
  2. I'd be interested in a set of these too.
  3. Nope, looks like JMR's username is 16vg60
  4. Looks nice from the pics still. Is that your IS200 in the shot?
  5. Got that kit too, works a treat. Only gripe is the little magnets that help hold the different heads on keep coming out. Need to stick a dab of superglue on the magnets I think.
  6. Yeah, I got one from the dealers last week, £6 something I think (I also ordered 2 slam panel trims that the bonnets pins go into, and the rivets to fit them). Ordered on the Saturday, picked up on Tuesday (Martins VW, Old Basing, Basingstoke) ps the rivets were a rip off, bought genuine but they are literally identical to all other makes of pop rivets.
  7. Well, swapped the plugs over and the vagcom code cleared. Drove around and the fan actually works on the low speed now. Couldn't get it to kick in on the full speed setting but assume that should still work eventually (as it was working before). Result :)
  8. Thanks stone. Yeah, I changed the sensor last year due to the vagcom error code, but it still remained. The thread mentioned earlier could well be it though, with the wiring connected up wrongly. I wonder why some VR's have the heater element, and others don't, if it is for colder climes (colder than ours I assume).
  9. That is an interesting thread, I will double check :)
  10. Funny you should mention that. My original one was leaking, so bought a second hand one off someone on here. I noticed that the replacement had no pins in it, so the plug pushed onto it wouldn't be doing anything whereas the original presumably was. Just a thought though, is there any relationship to the air intake temp? Vagcom shows my air intake temp as permanently open circuit, but it defo has a sensor on the inlet manifold itself which is good. Related at all?
  11. No mate, not going I'm afraid.
  12. They seem to be a tricky thing to find, took me ages to find two for mine in the end. If you are needing them for a show, I can take them off the car and lend you mine, as long as I get them back after.
  13. I'm in Basingstoke and have vagcom and a handheld scanner that work with the Corrado. Happy to meet somewhere to to test on your car before buying if you want to.
  14. I ordered one of those. Arrived and fitted today :thumbleft:
  15. I've use them twice (MyAlloys that is) for my two sets of Lexus 18x10" wheels. One set on bright silver sparkle, one set in anthracite, they did a superb job. I'd be interested in getting my 16" speedlines done for the Corrado.
  16. Yeah, that would cool mate. Cheers.
  17. Thanks to Dave, that's three I have now  Still on the look out for 1 more if anyone has one. Thanks
  18. I've got some rods arriving this week hopefully, so if no one has responded by then I will be fitting mine and can do some pics.
  19. I wouldn't paint the edges of the discs though, just a clean up.
  20. I'll have to re-check mate. Seems they are in need of trimming, which seems a little odd if they are meant for the VR though :(
  21. Ditto, mine is frayed to buggery n'all, been looking for a replacement for a while.
  22. Must admit, when I was checking my VR one the other day from the group buy a while back, it didn't fit, so I won't be fitting it at all.
  23. Yes chap, thems the ones.
