  1. Cool, thanks Rob. I'll hang on for a little while for the smoked ones. My car is sorned just now, if it gets back on the road before the smoked ones are ready, I'll pm you for a set of the clears as a temporary measure.
  2. OK, I have an early one spare. Typical... lol
  3. When do you recon the smokes are likely to come out? Might go with clears to get some protection on whilst the smoked ones are in the pipeline, but wouldn't want to spend on them if the smoked ones are just round the corner. Cheers Rick
  4. Yeah, I'm still in too. Nowt wrong with mine at the moment, but not had to take them off yet, so best be prepared.
  5. Are you after an early or late style switch?
  6. Thanks all. Gone for some 16" speedlines in the end.
  7. Ah ok, thanks for the info. In that case I would only need the carriers and spacers.
  8. How much better are these than 288's, and what size wheel would they fit under?
  9. This is the stuff I'm using at the moment to redo my engine bay, I also have some narrower stuff for the smaller looms. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wiring-Loom-Harness-Adhesive-Cloth-Fabric-tape-19mm-25m-/180637405593?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a0ed41199
  10. Clumpy, You specifically said Tempest and Jim in the mud slinging comment. Your name was initially mentioned because you said they were trying to "shaft" everybody. No one else said that, so Anna would have to mention you. If you don't want to be singled out, then you shouldn't be so abbrasive (and defensive if someone says so).
  11. That sounds much more handy than a single thread. Yeah, Andi's changes might have something with any luck.
  12. Interesting points of view re the scuttle panels. I have an SWG one on mine and I really like it. Granted, I would probably like it more in a matt finish, but I still prefer it over not having one at all, and prefer it over OEM ones from other models. Would be boring if we all liked the same things I guess :)
  13. Having had a couple of issues myself, the Good/Bad sellers threads don't help a great deal unless you want to trawl through the whole thread (and potentially miss something as you skim through). Is there a way to search specific threads, or arrange the results in posts rather than threads?
  14. Thanks guys, weighing up the the options :)
  15. Hi all, Looking to change the current wheels to something different. After 16" wheels as I have virtually brand new 16" tyres and want to transfer them over from the current wheels. Let me know what you've got :)
  16. 2nd dibs on the actuators if dragon drops out.
  17. That would be great and very much appreciated :) I'll let you know next week if the set up is still available for viewing.
  18. The number is also stamped on the end face of the block, just below the join line of the block and head, at the alternator end.
  19. Hi all, I'm looking for someone who could kindly do me a favour and be able to check out an item for me. It isn't Corrado related, but a supercharger set up for my Lexus GS430 Sport. It is currently still bolted to the original 4.3 V8 engine (out of car), and I just need to know if the guy is genuine and that the charger turns smoothly. I can then sort out a van and go and collect the setup. Too far away to risk couriers and money without confirmation of the goods. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.
  20. I'm in Basingstoke, not far away either. Mine is sorn'd at the moment until the spring (and subject to a successful MOT pass at that point)
  21. I'm ready to grab some headlamp and fog covers as soon as the smoked versions are available :)
  22. Wouldn't the sprocket area be sealed off from there to prevent the the oil that lubricates the chains/sprockets from filling up the bell housing (and contaminating the flywheel and clutch with oil)?
  23. As mentioned, you can get "Coil Spring Assistors" which may do what you want. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_sop=15&_nkw=spring+assister&rt=nc&LH_BIN=1
