1. hmmmm, looking at that, looks like I have a mk2 golf switch in mine too
2. Ok, that's both. Will check them out :)
3. Replaced broken bonnet cable. Can open the bonnet again :) Removed all rear brake pipes and made new pipes, fitted goodridge flexi pipes whilst doing it. Removed front brake pipes from abs unit to wheel arch and made new pipes. Bled brakes. Replaced both ARB drop links. One had snapped, and completely shredded CV boot :censored: So boot replaced on OS outer CV. Been a busy weekend.
4. As above, looking for a pair of braided pipes. Goodridge only seem to do full sets, I only want fronts. Cheers Rick
5. As above, the other end of the rca leads are probably under or behind carpet/trim/seats in the back somewhere (where an amp used to be).
6. I'll give that a go and see if it helps :)
7. Been looking at those mirror glasses myself. Not convinced heaters working on current ones, so may give those a go :) The ad does mention heater tabs may be in the wrong position and may need new holes cutting in backing plate.
8. Unless someone has taped the original fob and receiver up in the dash somewhere.
9. Looks like the bulb is a similar setup to the fog and rear screen switches, with hard wired bulbs. Nothing accessible without dismantling the switch. I've changed the bulb in my rear screen switch, so doable enough.
10. This is the one in mine. Not sure if they changed during the production run of the Corrado
11. No idea mate, never take it out. I can check later if no-one else knows before then.
12. It should illuminate when the ignition is on (so you can see it to switch your lights on when it is dark - not much point showing you where it is once you've found it to put them on) . The window switches etc will also illuminate at the same time.
13. Sounds normal if the "dim-dip" is functioning correctly. There is a low voltage put through the dip beam bulbs when using side lights, which reacts slowly. If you fit an updated loom, you will bypass/disable that feature.
14. Could anyone tell me what the diameter of bonnet release cable outer is please? My cable has snapped, so can't get to the cable at the moment to measure myself  Cheers Rick
15. Still looking if anyone has one? :(
16. I'd still check hydraulics first before dropping the box.
17. Does it improve if you pump the pedal a few times and try again?
18. I used to get regular stalling issues with daft cone filters on mine when I first got it. After reverting back to a standard airbox, and doing a full reset procedure on the ecu, I've not had any stalling issues.
19. Just seen a dark coloured Corrado (black??) going past the football stadium in Stoke, just happened to be looking out the window of the holiday inn I stayed in for the night.
20. Yes, Clutch fluid is fed from the brake fluid reservoir.
